Another expiring I guess.

Cheap expiring, knockdown shooter, and getting an extra asset for doing the sign and trade.

Accumulating assets.

The Heat have finally turned the corner!

Need to get that 1st for Wiggins next

Our "whale" move this year is swapping Duncan for a lesser version of Duncan that makes a few millions less.

What a summer to remember.

We just got out of prison for free. Why the hell would we agree to tie up $8 million in cap space on Freschetta?

He's a free agent now, can sign with anyone we wants for what ever price, while he still gets paid his original contract by the Bucks. So we can stash him away for the minimum and not give up a single asset

Duncan thank you contract.

Another expiring to add to list of expirings for the superstar who asks out.

Why the hell would we take on this guy's $8 million contract?

Yes ... ^ this. We're going to muck our cap back up for a 2nd round pick? FOH! :banghead:

EDIT: Found it! Twice in 2023-24 actually:

https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/202403050MIA.html

22/4/2 on 42% 3PT shooting
24/6 on 63% 3PT shooting (as a starter)

Everybody lights us up.

Think about it. Duncan just opts out of his contract and surprises everyone. He was due $10 mil. Everybody whos anybody got together and hashed out a very Heat centric plan that saves us $2 mil this year and gets us a 2nd. And takes Duncan out of the roster jumble.

Bravo.

Create cap space and you won't need to match salaries. This is insanity.

We’re not “mucking up our cap” by getting a guy on a 1 year 8M deal.

Yeah, looks like we saved ourselves a couple mil and got a 2nd rounder. We came out ahead pretty easily.

I'm down for discount Dame, let the Bucks pay a heap of his salary. Even if he doesn't play next season

Awesome! Sounds like a plan to me. Hopefully he has something left in the tank after that injury

Idk what the Knicks would have to give up, but they are a team on the rise in a great market for LeBron.

They would basically have to trade KAT for him. Or Anunonby + Robinson and filler. Or Bridges, Hart, and Robinson.
