What a disaster so far. Hopefully we got a good move up our sleeves.

There's absolutely no human being on the Bucks more important to their success than Giannis.

That you have a problem with his voice being heard is strange.
Everything he's posted the last 20 hours has been strange for the most part. Especially poo pooing Atlanta's off-season.

He is not a GM! I don't want Cade being an armchair GM.
If the Bucks fail do you blame the gm or Giannis?

I’m not sure you have to blame either. Their window was closing with their current core (after they already won). They took a swing on Dame and it failed. That’s the business.

Speaking of the business- they already know Giannis is rightfully questioning his future with the team. Regardless of how you might feel about players having a say, it’s malpractice if they made a major move without consulting him.

There how this business works now. Superstars have power.

Free agency is now over for the Pistons.

Time to look at making a trade or two.

Could really use a stretch-big

So, can we use MLE on Levert. BAE on Reed. Keep Beasley at $7.2 which is most wecan offer him a raise.
Sign and trade THJR with Fontecchio +Sasser+2nds or 1st if needed for John Collins? Or just for Duncan?
Are these all legal maneuvers?

It's either that or we use our $19mil cap space for Reed+Levert and use Room Exception $8mil onnnnnn....who? Beasley? Tim? Duncan?
I guess we could split the Room up and give part to Reed and then trade Fontecchio +Sasser with remaining $5mil capspace for Duncan or someone else

Yeah, a lot of good vibes have gone out the window in 24hrs. Trajan and crew can’t be blamed for Beasley being dumb but they did not recover well. Ivey coming back will help but I’m not sure I trust him yet and we got better once he was out because THJ and Beasley bombed 3s. Ugh.

Any rumors out there at all? Seems like all the targets have signed elsewhere. Monk trade fell through (which I'm fine with). What a swing and a miss so far.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if we also offered him a 1 year minimum deal but he decided to go to Denver instead because he would have wanted more to stay with us.... we also likely told him that he wouldn't be starting this season (Ivey back and Ausar still starting) and he'd be fighting other bench guys for minutes.

Good moves for Denver over the past 24 hours getting Cam Johnson, Bruce Brown, Jonas V and now THJ. They are primed to have the needed vets to try and unseat OKC in the West.

Vet leadership who played BIG roles in Beasley, THJ and Schroeder is now Caris LeVert and likely Robinson. Kind of gross. Can’t lie.

Between Bruce Brown and THJ, Denver has recreated KCP in the aggregate, to borrow a phrase.

THJ was already in the lineup when Ivey was playing. Maybe...........and follow me here......just maybe the addition of an absolute defensive witch to the lineup helped things some. But, what do I know.

Hmm.

Well, we still have Tobias as a veteran presence.

If this is it then it’s quite a poor offseason. Hopefully it’s not.

Timmy is a good dude, but starting him at SF in the playoffs is the mark of an unserious team.

His defense was the worst on the team (which is saying something) unless you ran into him for a charge.

Ausar is the starting SF. Duren is the starting center. We need improvement from Ausar and need to make it work. We’ll see.

Yeah of the three this is the loss that will be felt the least.

We need another shooter badly, though. Hope there’s still something cooking.

I think the veteran presence is a bigger loss than the talent tbh. Definitely need another backup PG now but people are forgetting how well Ivey was shooting the ball, and not realizing Levert is as good of a shooter as THJ was. Definitely gotta address backup PG and PF now though.
