Honestly, most of the picks Orlando gave up for Bane could be considered nearly guaranteed late firsts. If our 31 1st is worth almost three of those, maybe we are closer to a guy of Bane's level than i thought.

There are a lot of national analysts saying we're effectively paying Turner 50m a year. This is a stupid and impractical way of thinking about it.

Another option would be trading that first for 3 random first from a team like OKC and parsing those picks out? Who do you have in mind for a target?

No one in particular, I guess, but Herb just feels like too much of a rotational guy. I feel like we need a guy who could be a legit 2 or 3 guy. Doesn’t have to be “star,” but I think we need another scorer.

They're saying Giannis is upset about Dame. We actually have video of Giannis' reaction:

Giannis rightfully hates CP3, no chance.

Bucks clearly needed to release Rollins cap hold to sign Turner into cap space. They also pivoted from using the BAE on KPJ to using the Room Exception. So they have the rest of the room exception left if they want to keep Rollins around, or he can sign a 1+1 for the min and then opt out next offseason when they have his bird rights again. I’d probably just lock him up longer with the room though.

Also, can they decline AJG’s option then use lock him up long term or simply extend him?

I know I keep saying it but I'll continue to do so in hopes that we can will it into existence, but Trey Murphy is the guy that makes so much sense. Last season he looked really good, and maybe the Pels are silly enough to sell on him now for the juicy 31 pick

We're the 1st team to try stretching this amount.. if we end up very competitive, it will likely be repeated. Horst trying to start trends. 5 years is a long time.. but we paid KM much more to sit there injured so there's that

So we could trade Kuzma, 31 FRP and 32 swap and bring back up to 30 mil. Who is out there you'd be willing to give up that package for? In the words of a great Bucks fan "GIVE ME NAMES!"

Still some good players hanging out that might settle for the minimum if they don’t get a deal soon.

Brogdon, Hardaway, Banton. Jeff Dowtin was pretty impressive when he got minutes last year as well, but he’s got the ugliest jumper you’ve ever seen. It goes in, though.

What I admire about horst is that he will continue to try and improve the roster and utilize every avenue possible.

That I don't admire is, Horst has to use every avenue possible to improve the roster.

Releasing Rollins QO clears more cap right? Think Rollins will be back. Doc loves him

Still have the 26 swap, 31 1st, 32 something? Right? That’s not nothing but no point holding it if we can acquire that starting SF. No point in not going all in now.

Ingram, Fox, Wiggins, Murphy, Vassell, Barrett, Herro, Barrett, Derozan, Simons.

We need Rich Paul to force Fox here

Better (or more fun) way to look at it is that we’re paying Giannis 76 mil a year and we’re still getting a deal

2025
Myles: +3.1
Brook: -16.4

2024
Myles: +6.5
Brook: -19.9

Yup and playoffs are all that matters

And they were literally playing against each other, to further cement the point

Out of that bunch, I'd probably go for Vassell. Herro would be close 2nd, but no way Miami moves him for that offer.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
