The Jays definitely need to add a top of the rotation starter somehow. Kevin Gausman had a great first two years in Toronto, but he's clearly a #3-4 starter now. Going to be tough to win a playoff series counting on him, Berrios, and Bassitt. Not sure how they fix that.

Gausman and Bassitt are 4+ ERA guys now. They badly need a SP to be taken seriously.

Top of the rotation starters are hard to get, especially when we have a farm system that is bottom tier in MLB. Kikuchi would look great right now with the way he has pitched the last two months (arguably a Top 5 Pitcher in the AL these past two months). That should have been taken care of the off-season, and he even expressed his desire to come back and had his agent reach out to Atkins, but this team passed on him. At this point, I just want a serviceable starting pitcher, since you cannot trust Scherzer to stay healthy the rest of the way.

Jays have a bad history with Eddings. He’s a total clown and already missing obvious calls and barking at Gausman.

Can we score 2 runs is the question

Not on Fried. Their best chance was to get into their bullpen but that isn’t going to happen at the rate he’s going.

I really wish Gausman didn't nibble around Stanton in the first inning. Walking him was so stupid and probably cost the game.

Stanton owns him historically. Probably had something to do with it.

Didn’t expect that out of Gimenez.

Gimenez is heating up. He has been playing much better as of late.

Removing Gausman that early is corny to me. It leaves too many innings for a bullpen to cover.

He was already at almost 100 pitches and wasn’t really on his a game
