LOL at the quote that dame was “elated” to be waived and can join a contender. He’s the reason we didn’t contend, more.

I was always skeptical of anyone who thought we were gonna legitimately upgrade the roster with these meager salary exceptions that will almost always net you nothing more than some type of journeyman rotation guy. Leveraging Kuzma's salary plus the 2031 1st was always gonna be the avenue to a legit roster upgrade, and that's become a necessity with these other moves now.
What do you think about Kuz/1st for Herb/Alvarado?
I don't think Herb makes sense anymore with how much we're clearly committed to the Giannis/Turner/Bobby frontcourt. You need a better shooter/offensive creator at wing or guard right now.
DeMar DeRozan seems like the ideal fit for this roster. Yes he’s more of a midrange shooter but is able to create his own shot and for others. His defensive deficiencies can be offset by having two elite rim protectors behind him.
The only other options who might be available are RJ Barrett or Miles Bridges.

Ingram, Fox, Wiggins, Murphy, Vassell, Barrett, Herro, Barrett, Derozan, Simons.
We need Rich Paul to force Fox here
I would greatly prefer a bigger wing, someone in the 6"7-6"9 range. We've already got our fair share of undersized 2-guards.

Jabari Walker. Only 22. Played great in the second half of last season shot 40% from three. Good rebounder and defender

I will say, I think Horst went way too early with the Harris deal

Miles Bridges and KPJ on the same team?

Turn Kuzma into Wiggins and Andre Jackson into Kris Dunn, then let Horst relax for a few weeks.

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions - The Wizardry of Jon Horst
Honestly are we just taking Indianas identity lol?
Hali is better than KPJ but he fits the mold of the fast playmaker than can score.
Turner is… Turner
Giannis is Siakim on steroids
Trent, Green, Bobby are solid role players that can knock down shots and play with a face paced offense
If they could play mostly smaller 3 guard lineups backed by Turner/Siakim surely we can do that with Turner/GIANNIS

I still like Dunn. I like him so much, I'd trade the current second highest paid player on the team for him.
Kuzma for Dunn.

I just checked. No NBA team with two players named Gary on the roster has ever won a title.

That might explain it. I'm not a huge fan of Harris. Used to be way back in the day. But now, I don't know.
I am surprised to see that he's only 30.

Turning Kuz salary into a viable SF and then bringing back Rollins feels like a grand slam of an off-season
