Quickly/Shead/Martin
Barrett/Ochai/Dick
Ingram/Walter/Battle
Barnes/CMB/Mogbo
Poeltl/Mamu

That's pretty good depth wow.

THATS WAY TOO MANY GUYS WHO NEED MINS

CMB can be a huge impact player even as a rookie many will be surprised at how good he is immediately.

I actually want him to play, I dont trust Darko with this many playable players he's too nice and will try and give everyone minutes.

we still need a consolidating trade badly..

we'd still have 10 playable guys or more.

He’s an amazing fit next to CMB, I’ll say that. As long as we can duck the tax without having to make a trade (which it sounds like we can) this is a great signing.

Mogbo going to have to put in work to stay in the rotation.

We’re running a 10 man rotation almost certainly. Ingram isn’t playing every game, nor is Poeltl, and they’ll probably give IQ and Scottie games off here and there also to keep them fresh. It’ll be fine.

After years of having no depth, this is a good problem to have.

Hopefully good enough to get on the court. He has a nice stroke, shoots with confidence.

He also has that John Wall quirk where his one-handed dunks are almost always with his weak hand.

He looks like he moves okay at least. The Raps have enough defense in the frontcourt with Poeltl, Barnes, CMB, Mogbo which should help compensate somewhat. Shooting in the frontcourt was a pretty urgent need and you aren't going to get a complete player for that contract amount.

I think he should be fine as a team defender given his IQ and effort. It’s not like he’ll be going up against first units.

I like that he is a skilled shooter (side step 3s at 6’11”?!?) and not a big who can only shoot slow catch & shoot 3s. He’s remarkably smooth with the ball for his size. He must have grown up as a guard.

It definitely helps during an 82 game season.

Not sure why people are complaining about the player option. We aren’t the only team looking for stretch bigs.

Gotta respect the bet on yourself attitude. Dude wants to prove him himself vs the guaranteed money.

Yeah but at just above the minimum I am not that concerned.

But I am happy that for Poeltl we choose the partial guaranteed in year 4 instead of a Player option .

That is said , one thing I don’t understand about player option is the timing . Why not fixed the timing one year earlier for the player to get his decision

This still give lot of flexibility to the player .

By example for FVV and O.G they would have had to give their decision in summer 2022 and 2023 instead of 2023 and 2024

Would that be possible ?
