I’ve missed having an energy big man since the days of Gadz, and the Brockness Monster. And now we can play Portis strictly at the 4 which will be pretty radical. He seemed like he might be our starting center as recently as yesterday.

We basically have 6-players taking up 90% of our cap space (Giannis/Turner/Kuzma/Bobby/Prince/Sims) whose best/only positions are the two frontcourt spots. It's just a weird direction to go coming into an offseason where everyone agreed that we need to try and play more modern basketball. There has to be a Kuzma trade they're pursuing, or else I fear they've learned absolutely nothing and they're just leaning even more into Doc's worst impulses/preferences (jumbo, **** spacing lineups FTW).

When is the earliest we can trade Turner? Dude preferring to stay in Indy then only signing with MKE for the dough has me Greg Monroe concerned.

What else was he supposed to do when Indy wouldn’t pay him? Accept way below market value from a team that has been trying to trade him forever?

Just a really baffling signing on Day 2 of free agency. Everybody hates Taurean Prince, but he's a significantly better player at this point.

Apples and oranges. Prince can only shoot standstill jumpers.

Harris, at least at one time, was a really good defender. So maybe the Matthews comp is a good one. Low usage guy who can defend and is a good locker room guy.

Assuming the price for Herro is Kuzma, 2 First rounds picks, plus players who says yes to "go all in"? If you say no what would be your deal?

Fox Yes, Herro No. cheapest guys to acquire would probably be Barret, Derozan or Simons..

Yeah I agree those are the most realistic options. I could see Fox netting even more...

Hali is better than KPJ but he fits the mold of the fast playmaker than can score.

Turner is… Turner

Giannis is Siakim on steroids

Trent, Green, Bobby are solid role players that can knock down shots and play with a face paced offense

If they could play mostly smaller 3 guard lineups backed by Turner/Siakim surely we can do that with Turner/GIANNIS

this is exactly what the mold needs to be. turner was the lynchpin in my opinion. he may be the best fit next to giannis of any teammate hes ever had besides khris. we need to sell our souls that maybe kpj can be a version of khris. he'll never be khris but prime denis shroder with the right concept for this team might have been enough. just a guy who can go when giannis is sitting or resting

Assume this is Fox on San Antonio, is there any reason to think he'd be available after they just traded for him and Spurs clearly need him too if they plan on competing this year?

Considering our main trade piece is Kuzma I'd be thinking more along the lines of Derozan types. Other flawed type players but that could be more useful to us than Kuzma. Oh I see now that you're including our far out 1sts so I see the discussion for these higher types. Personally, I'd probably keep the picks and get what I can for Kuzma, hopefully someone who fits better with how our 5/4 is covered now. If not, play it out and see what shows at the deadline.

Even the most non-haters of Kuzma can see he is the odd man out right now. He can't really play the 3 and were loaded at the 4-5 now.

Not sure what we can do about that since we don't have the contracts to make it work to get someone in the 30 mil range, although according to Frank's cap chart, we still have 18 mil left if im understanding that correctly?

Yeah, I’m not “sure” we have a single starter caliber guard on the team

Just caught up myself. Wowza! I love the moves so far. Even Harris. Might be Wes 2.0. Welcome back Point Giannis!

I've been traveling the west coast and all the media markets here are reporting:

1.Local team update.
2. What will Giannis do?

It really is unbelievable.

Did I say he wasn't supposed to take the money? Let me check my post...

... ... ...

Nope. I did not.

I asked when is the earliest he can be traded.

Both odds choices to me as well but both are cheap and we need some capable bodies off the bench. We aren't all going to agree on which fringe NBA players should fill out the end of the bench roster...

If we find out we promised rotational minutes or if it prevent us from signing someone else, sure be upset about it but both guys are NBA players and acceptable 9-12 men on the roster. We've had worse vet mins and so do a lot of other teams. There aren't 350 guys that meet this boards standards of an end of the bench min wage NBA players.

Horst must be going door to door asking for a cup of anything to get rid of Kuzma........Tick Tock Tick Tock, it all needs to be done today. The advanced fan needs action every 2 hours and also to feed this hungry board.

Michael Pina, who has never had a nice thing to say about the Bucks, is killing them at The Ringer.

Get rid of Kuzma please. Most unwatchable player in the league.

Dunn was terrible after his lucky three point shooting early in the year fell off.

I thought the three-point shooting was a bonus and he's a defensive genius. You already know I'm a Dairy fan.
