THJ was a very good vet. Was played too much though. Caris is an on court upgrade. Schroder was a TDL injury replacement. Plan was to bring Beas back, probably bring in Duncan Robinson. Thompson to get PF minutes and hope for Tek rebound season (unless he is traded yet)

Pretty sure we end up with Duncan Robinson. Would be cool to add a 4 but we don’t really have anything to trade to match salaries.

Duncan would be a S&T though right? Expiring Tek, Sasser and SRP's?

Between THJ and Beasley we need to replace 6.1 made threes per game.

We need to hope Ivey’s early shooting wasn’t a fluke and that Lavert shoots the ball well for us.

I’d be okay with Robinson- some will feel differently but flat out shooting is desperately needed.

Is all of that an upgrade? Not really. We need internal upgrades. Fingers crossed.

I didn’t want Robinson but now he feels like a necessity. Hopefully they don’t get ripped off on a contract if they are working on something.

DR would be a solid addition. Gotta keep it reasonable, though.

I'm good with adding Robinson. There could still be some deals out there. I'd prefer to get our business done before the start of the season, but we are still below the lux tax, so we could easily add someone at the TD.

fun fact about duncan robinson: he has the all-time record for highest 3 point attempt rate. it's the same as steph curry's but he has him beat by percentage points. when we got THJ and beasley last year the one thing they both had in common was that they both had near the highest 3 point rates in the league the previous season.

not sure what we'd have to give up in a sign and trade (not much salary-wise i don't think?) but we pretty much need a sharp shooter on the roster otherwise our second round rookie is our only "sniper".

DR was not on my wish list either. But as someone already said, he's a proven sharpshooter and is a necessity for us now. Let's hope TL can strike a good deal.

Love that this means no more Fontechhio, leaving us with no choice but find a new backup 4

Now we need a backup 4 now like yesterday. Unless Stew is gonna mostly play the 4 again, but still would be best if we had a fifth big.

I figured this was close given Detroit didn't take Monk. Surprised it only cost Tek.

Klitman can do as much as Tech did last year probably, at least I’m hoping, when the game is on the line he’s never going to be on the floor. If it’s not Harris it will be Ausar.

Ugh again…..

Not sure where DR is gonna get minutes…this was the depth chart before adding him:

SG - Ivey / LaVert / Lanier
SF - Ausar / Holland
