Hopefully we don't have to hear about lack of depth anymore from Jokians.

I mean the depth issue was just fixed so…logically you wouldn’t?

You’re in the extreme minority if you think the Nuggets didn’t have depth issues for the last two years.

He's a notorious Jokic hater. He hates on him and Denver nonstop. Ignore him.

It is an alt account for sure. 95 percent of the posts since he started this account over a year were anti Jokic

Underrated team defender and a good shooter. This is a good value deal.

Keep that same energy come playoffs. :D

So, after firing Malone they go ahead and do exactly what he was asking for the last two years? Had they fired Booth in 2023 their championship count would be more than 1.

Man, I'm all about smaller towns but my wife needs a big city to make her money. It was either Charlotte or Atlanta, and NO THANKS to Atlanta.

The only thing he does is shoot and score, he’s really bad at everything else. And the issue is, he doesn’t even shoot and score at an average level anymore.

Over his last 4 years, his shooting splits are 40/36/81 (54 TS%).

Dont get me wrong not saying this is a bad signing, it’s not like Denver has a ton of money to throw around. Just saying I don’t think this one moves the needle much. Again won’t be shocked if he’s not even in the rotation by the time the playoffs come around.

I mean, Denver is going to play their main guys heavy minutes in the playoffs. These small moves are to ensure they don't have to play Jokic and Murray 40 minutes during games in December like they had to last year.

Nuggets fans are so excited because of what we had to deal with the past two years. On the outside, these are small deals. To us, not having 1/3 of the roster composed of utter bums is a relief.

Oh I totally get that. I just think Hardaway is closer to just being another bum on the bench for Denver is all. Like I think there is a better chance he’s just the guard version of Saric (somewhat recognizable name that is just trash now) for Denver this year. I think Strawther is the better player and will be ahead of him in the rotation by the end of the year.

Again not saying this is a bad move. I totally get the limitations this front office was handed. I just think this ends up being a nothing move is all.

I also hope Strawther will be better player and will be ahead of him in the rotation by the end of the year. But for this to happen Strawther must be better than he was last season. And I think Hardaway Jr is better player than Strawther was last year. So it is Hardaway Jr >>> Strawther (24/25)
If Strawther (25/26) > Hardaway Jr great for the Nuggets. And one of them will be 8/9 Nuggets player, 3/4 off the bench. It is not they depend on any of the 2.

People must realize why Nugget fans are so excited. Here is how they look after 1st day

Cam Johnson >= Michael Porter Jr - with this move they can rasign Braun and Watson next year and stay under 1st apron
Jonas Valanciunas >>> DeAndre Jordan
Bruce Brown >= Russell Westbrook
DaRon Holmes > Dario Saric
Hardaway Jr >>> Strawther (24/25)

They will alter from valuing depth and rest for Jokic to the old trusty complaint about Jokic having not played with another Allstar. Believe me.

That or blame Jamal Murray. Cam Johnson better be prepared for the incoming hate and scrutiny that will come his way from the Jokcult if Denver doesn't improve much.

They'll blame everyone again so why expect anything different. Jokic is the only player in the game who takes 100% of the credit and none of the blame.

Nuggets pushing OKC to 7? All Jokic.
Nuggets flaming out year after year? Team game. Jokic can't do it alone.

Even with all these moves with more veteran depth they still have Murray as #2 and he’s still not consistent enough in my opinion. Once again if he doesn’t show up consistently all of this may be for nought. Of all the #2’s in the league Murray may still not even be top 10

The Pistons were absolute laughing stocks last offseason when we traded for this guy (and got second rounders to take him).

Stoked for THJ to fill the Justin Holiday-ish role from the season before last. He won't get a lot of burn, but knocking down his looks in his 10-18 minutes will be all they need. Solid fit for the role and length. Prove-it deal for both team and player. Win-win!!

I guess they can rest Jokic a little now, that's definitely important.

The Nuggets absolutely got better over the last two days. Having depth matters. They took Oklahoma City to seven games with essentially a six-man rotation, and Aaron Gordon was playing hurt in game seven. Now, they have an eight-man rotation of viable NBA players, and anything they get from Peyton Watson and Julian Strawther is a bonus.

These are the exact sort of signings the Nuggets needed to make. They aren't needle movers but competent NBA players who can fill roles for 20 minutes per night.

It was by far their biggest weakness.

They just took the champion to 7 games with a clearly inferior team. What you on about ?

He didnt have the greatest playoffs this year, but each year before he was an absolute animal come playoff time. You can maybe use this argument on Embiid, but not Joker.

Ehh Jokic got a lot of blame this loss for letting smaller guards swarm him into making rushed plays or forcing turnovers.

I think the Nuggets treat him as a KCP in a backup role.
