We’ll see if they do anything else for the 1st time in several years but you just have to laugh at this point. If it’s not the scout team they’re so bad at their jobs now

Setting the stage to blow it up hopefully
God I hope so although I don’t trust this front office to find good value for Bam and Herro

What did we expect to get for a bunch of undrafted bums?
No kidding….
Duncan, Caleb, Vincent, Strus were about to get their CDL licenses and start driving trucks around the country… the Heat took a chance at them, developed their low skill/talent and changed their lives forever with the contracts they got.
Tucker and Crowder were finished by the time we trwded them. dragic was beyond done.
Crowder was in the finals the very next year

2020: make the finals, come back the following season with a worse roster
2022: ECF game 7 lose by 1 shot, come back with a worse roster
2023: make the finals, come back the following season with a worse roster
Incompetence.

Clean the house! Fresh start and rebuild. If bam wants to stick around and mentor so be it, send the rest packing

Don’t give Bam that option, convince him it’s in his best interest to be shipped out to a contender and thank him for all he’s done. The jersey will hang one day

I really want heat to trade wiggins, he represents where the team isn't, he's a solid 4th option on a championship team, on this team he could be the second or third best option and not far behind the first option (herro)

Re: 2025 Offseason Thread Vol.4
Feels like an agenda to complain about these undrafted guys we developed leaving for big contracts. The only time we were consistently good was the 1 year we were the #1 seed. The two Finals runs were Cinderella teams that looked outmatched in the Finals (although they had injuries against the Lakers), and the 3 point shooters got hot and Jimmy was Superman. This has largely been a 1 and done playoff team since being the home of undrafted players. Every year we've been good to great to win a title, we've had stars and quality talent. I don't like the FO right now, but I'm not about to complain about losing these guys. Go get better talent. They could if they weren't so crippled by negative assets for years. We tried to trade Duncan several times. Nobody wanted his contract.

They should have re-signed Crowder.....but lets not forget why they didn't. Heat were trying to keep the cap space for a subsequent Giannis pursuit. That ended up backfiring, but their was logic behind letting Crowder walk.
No mention of the brilliant move to acquire Crowder tho

Bam isn't going anywhere. He just needs to keep elevating his game. Lead us big man.

Clearing cap space and passing on good deals in pursuit of a whale has always backfired for us. We have never gotten that whale, unless D Wade had something to do with it.

Or that, the Groundhog Day has really taken its toll, amazing seeing guys step up in the playoffs in 2020,2021 and 2023 but this team is neither here or there, it needs to be restarted.
Imagine a few years with a nice young core by way of consecutive top 7 picks, the veterans will come via FA

For what? We just replaced Duncan's salary with the new guy's salary.

Yet, even right now we have fans hoping we keep the cupboard dry for 2026 free agency.

We maxed Bam with an extension which ended the Giannis pursuit didn’t we? So that’s basically a moot point

If this is the roster I need him and Herro flirting with 20 shots a night to grow as focal points. It’ll only help with they get the superstar

Kings, Lakers and Warriors rosters are very short
