I would also if I were them.

Let it play out in the courts, but they would be stupid to sign him to a contract with his pending case where anything can happen. It's a business at the end of the day.
Why so serious?

Can't skip the fact that Robinson's contract is only partially guaranteed year 2 and non-guaranteed year 3. When negotiating contracts, adding clauses like that up the AAV.

That certainly makes his deal alot better.

Thanks for looking up the specifics.

Ayton is theory is a very good target but I just hate the idea. We finally have a team full of young hungry guys that we enjoy watching play basketball.

Ayton would be two steps back. The man looks like he cares less than Pat.

Ayton is a younger but a worse shooting version of Vuc. Also, seems like POR was very disappointed in his work ethic and attitude. Hope the Lakers get him and are stuck.

Ayton is not a winning player.

That goes far beyond sports.

This Times 10000000. No one ever says Jerry Reinsdorf is making too much money. And he literally just owns the team and sits back and watches the money come in. The players are the ones generating it.

As a matter of fact nobody has even.mentioned reinsdorf and Money in the same sentence! /s

at this rate...Bulls F.O. might as well just waive VUC and sign Joakim Noah or Taj both 40 years young, for the end of the bench role to help develop the rookie Noa.

You take that back. He doesn’t sleep at night because he is always winning playing call of duty.

I think I would be happy if Indy signed Ayton. That dude may be the only starting C in the league worse than Vuc on defense.

True, what happened to this kid, Sco? He played better defense his rookie year. He has the tools to a be a force on that. And each new team is hoping he taps into his potential on that end. This is a guy who shouldn't be coming off anybody's bench. I can only imagine the disappointment that the Suns organization feels after drafting this dude.

I wonder if we trade Coby or Ayo, and Grimes continues to sit in FA, if we attempt to offer him our MLE? He fits our theme pretty well and could be the 20/4/4 guy with defense that he showed to be.

I think he'll get multiple MLE offers and choose one where he gets the chance to start. If we are trading Coby, signing Grimes would be my preferred course of action. He's not as good offensively, but he's better defensively.

Grimes would be a solid pick up regardless of if they trade anyone else or not.

We would really struggle to score if we lost Coby and Vuc. It would force Buz Giddey and PW to really score.
