ESPN coverage is horrible man. Most of the people they show on TV know nothing and have 0 personality. I hope NBC/Amazon does a better job covering the sport.

That IQ contract is pretty bad unless he breaks out into a clear Maxey level star (doubt it)
That makes no sense.
Maxey's contract pays him an average of 40 mill per year, IQ 32.5. Maxey is getting paid more because he is better.

This is just sad. He must have a crippling gambling addiction to throw it all away

This would have to be the 2nd worst of their 2027 1sts since the Suns own the worst of the 3.

Why would a tanking give up a draft pick to take on a longer deal. You should check what they've done with Sexton/Clarkson lol.
Before proposing any trade, always think "does it benefit both sides." Helps save everyone a read

lol. Utah takes on more salary and gives up a pick why for a lateral move? They got rid of their ball dominant guards for a reason and they’re going to ass another? Then again Ainge traded a better player and pick for a worse player. You might be on to something

We don’t have a need for Collins esp since CMB and Mogbo are gonna need mins at the PF position.

Lillard will be a shell of himself. imagine now him trying to play defense? he will probably run 3rd string point guard duty on that team since he'll have to hidden on that team,.

Or at least ask does the team that’s not the Raptors get completely bent over in the trade

That makes no sense.
Maxey's contract pays him an average of 40 mill per year, IQ 32.5. Maxey is getting paid more because he is better.
In the context of players outperforming their contract, if IQ was able to be a clear star level guard like Maxey, he would be an outperformer.
If he were making $40m, him playing like Maxey would be more of an expectation than a hope. Another example is I expect BI to be an all star level offensive wing given how much we’ve invested. Anything less is a disappointment, but him outperforming that and turning into Tatum or something would make him outperform what we’re paying him.
Makes it tough to move our guys when the time comes when none of them are on value contracts even if you like the player. Don’t really see winning teams that don’t at least have a Derrick White, or Wiggins, or Nembhard, or Caruso etc on the roster that is way more impactful than what they’re being paid
"Above average role player is now being paid like a superstar from one good playoff series. This will end up as one of the worst contracts in the league." paulbball on Pascal Siakam
