Big shake up in Milwaukee and Indiana.. did not see the Lillard, Turner moves coming at all. Sux for Indiana.

Jonas V. to Denver is pretty big, really making their depth better everywhere, and can spell Jokic.

Yabusele to the Knicks is neat, glad not a west team. He'll be good there.

Smh.. I just don't really like that move if so. Disappointing to see.. seems so far, the opposite of what should be done is happening.

Trade coming maybe? Or just to free up money for another signing?

"and call it an offseason"

Still got the whole summer and early Fall left.. its never over after 2 or 3 days. Even after (if so) signing Paul.

Meh.

I think he was being overly dramatic but might be some truth in there.

Clippers do usually carry 14 players.

Law Murray hinted that Powell would be a deadline deal if traded at all.

Who knows who the Clippers might be eyeing? Combining contracts outside the usual off limits doesn’t seem enticing.

We’ve been surprised before though.

Well, hopefully the next move isn't Paul.. or Beal : )

I mean, Beal... shot in the dark if he'd be an improvement at SG, then you probably gotta move Powell soon.. would Beal even be better than Powell? I kind of think not, realistically how does he even play? Shouldn't have to ask that question but given his situation the last few years, it is what it is.

I'd rather have Powell, if to choose.. more value and production.

Go get Marvin Bagley, still out there and not too sought after it seems, he may have to settle for a low-ish contract because of his spotty time in Memphis, under the radar and semi-unproven (but kind of is in a way IMO).. he's not a pure center and can play PF just fine.

Bagley would give that different look at C as well, when needed to go smaller, more agile, instead of Lopez, to backup Zubac -- instead of using Batum again too much there.

Bagley spaces the floor, scores in the paint, brings defensive length in the paint and agility in general. Get him.. before the Lakers or Suns do.

Starting my MBIII campaign...

https://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2025/6/30/24458968/phoenix-suns-marvin-bagley-free-agency-rumors-hometown-return-prove-it-contract-fit

He’s still just 26. He’s healthy. He’s athletic. And most importantly, he’s still got something to prove.

A Perfect Fit at Power Forward

Forget the failed experiments trying to make Bagley into a traditional big man. Where he truly thrives is at the power forward spot, where his mobility, scoring touch, and rebounding can stretch defenses and exploit mismatches.

Or Dominick Barlow, as well.. but may be too "young", and not be given a chance.

Feel like the Lakers/Suns will get one of them each.

Trey Lyles still out there, too.. but feel like he may be out of range price-wise. Never know, though.

Completely agree about Washington. Really good player; he reminds me a lot (like, really a lot) of Aaron Gordon. I just don't know what we'd offer. Would you do a future pick swap or (gulp) a protected pick for him? The weird thing is, Eubanks would really help us here--he's an expiring contract, but he's still on the books. We could combine him with Kobe Brown and use our trade exception and make the deal. It would need a sweetener, but we could do it.

Already said my piece about Yabusele. but I'm not as big on Bagley. Part of that is that he just doesn't seem to care. He's clearly got skills, but doesn't showcase them much--kind of a lesser version of Ayton. And the bigger part of that is that he just doesn't play. He's been over 1200 minutes once in a 7 year career, and that was his rookie year. He played less than 300 minutes last year, and he was on probably the worst team in the league for more than half the season. Something is wrong there.

I've always liked Trey Lyles, and he would've been a great replacement for Eubanks. But with Lopez and a few minutes for Yanic, the extra minutes at the five are gone. I'd rather have a combo 3/4.

Pretends to be shocked. People making fun of it but better option than some of their previous ones.

Ttrade-wise, PJ Washington would be a very good get.

Just don't know if Dallas would do that deal with a rival.

So Suns will re-route Jalen Green then? Because there is no way they offering Cp3 a starting job while Green&Booker on the team.

CP3... Please, please sign with the Suns. He will hijack this team, handcuff the offense, pit teammates against each other and split the locker room, we'll become a crybaby & whiny team to the refs, and everyone on the team will be miserable asf.

He's also 40 years old and a stone-cold lock to either be injured or choke when it matters. We already went through the CP3 experience once, no need to do it again with a geriatric version of him.

Beal isn't a backup point guard, obviously isn't a backup center, and is also redundant with Norm still on our team. Our front office has an A&E Hoarders-level obsession with collecting washed-up names on the wrong side of 30.

Valanciunas heading back to Europe is probably the best news the Clippers have gotten in years. No more having to watch him turn into peak Dirk against us. It's a total dick move to pull on the Nuggets right after they traded for him, though. It almost reminds me of how Ilya Kovalchuk screwed over the Devils.
