Has Dillon Brooks issued a statement or been introduced? I wouldn’t be surprised if they are working a deal up for him. Outside of Book, he might be our most tradable asset.

There is just no way he is happy with this move. Think he was surly last yr???

He’ll be bolting 27-28 anyway as UFA. Like Beal, clearly not a long term piece. I highly doubt he makes it through the season as a Sun. If LilSparta wasn’t trying to force this no PG line up on us (the ol’ Lemons-Lemonade routine) may be we’d see Brooks for Smart or something of that nature. At least they are giving Gillespie a role. I’d wager we will have a better rating with him at the point.

Just not a fan of Point Book or Green. May be Green will surprise us, but Point Book is Pointless.

We wanted Dillon Brooks. He is exactly the type of player that we need on our roster. Grit, hustle, defense and he can help us on offense too.

He isn't going anywhere. He is already in Phoenix. Jalen Green is in Phoenix too.

Also, re: Brooks, I think he'll take this as a challenge. Rockets weren't winning anything as previously constructed. The way the Suns are being built, I think he'll enjoy working with this team.

We do tend to get rowdy about our shiny new toys when draft day comes around. I'm equally to blame. I had high hopes. I was just surprised that he basically had 0 impact. Tyty and Gilespie were at least helpful in some ways and got chances. Given how bad we were last year, it has to say something if Bridges couldn't even get a chance

He is exactly the type of player that will work well next to Booker. I doubt Brooks will be traded at this point. Maybe in February at the deadline but not now. Have to see what he brings. I like what he brings.

Maybe today will have clarity on the trade for Richards.

One thing to keep in mind is the Suns have all season to get under the second apron. Trading a vet like Allen, Brooks, O'Neil into a trade exemption at the deadline is a possibile path.

At least we do have starting caliber players at 4 positions and maybe one of the guys surprise us at Pf. Book and Green are definitly starting caliber guards in this league, I see Green being a Westbrook type of pg/ball handler. We have an actual starting quality C in Williams as long as injuries dont hamper him but he is an upgrade. We have technically two starting caliber sf's in Dunn and Brooks. I am happy at the direction to get younger, more athletic and defensive.

They did not want Beal a few months ago and I doubt anything has changed. Yes he would likely waive his NTC to go to Miami because he idolizes Wade.

Rozier is so bad, and Wiggins doesn't have heart. I actually think I'd prefer Beal to be honest. Oh... and Rozier & Wiggins make more than Beal combined, so can't do that anyway.

If we can get under the 2nd apron via a Grayson/Royce deal, we'll be able to aggregate salary then you just have to do Beal/Oso for Rozier/Wiggins.

I don't want to see Oso go but with his skill set, he can't really play the 4 which means he'll be behind Williams, Maluach and possibly Richards if he's still around. Those remaining minutes at the 5 might even got to Fleming. I just see Oso being pushed further back into the depth chart with all the recent moves and he's potentially redundant.

Oso doesn't work with Beal -- the two trade machines I tried. Suns are a bit short
its just a tough mix now with Robinson gone. Even tried Richards/Beal for Wiggins/Rozier - didn't work
Dunn for Oso - didn't work

Wiggins would make 27m less than Beal next year so if you could so - just don't see a match anymore

Good point - Ishbia pays the bulk of the salary but the team still gets credit for the $10m of Royce O'Neale towards the second apron. And more than likely, teams will be more open to using the TPEs at the deadline

I see comments like that from Gambo and I see a front office that is entirely clueless. There were ways to get below the apron levels. Micic, Martin and Richards would have got them under the first apron I believe which means combining players to make trades.

I guess we shall see but Nick Richards - when you have Oso, Malauch and Williams - seems like enough. Take the second round pick and move on

I can't see it. But he is very young so who knows...

IMO Maluach is closer to Mutombo/Gobert but with better stationary shooting and not as great as a rebounder.

IMO Maluach is closer to Mutombo/Gobert but with better stationary shooting and not as great as a rebounder.
