you mean Vivek don't you? I thought he was a meddling owner pulling all the strings? Dictating draft picks, trades and FA? We can't selectively blame him for all the bad and not credit him for the good. Let's have some consistency.
He's the owner responsible for Christie coaching the team instead of the man the contending Knicks paid bank to acquire and has put this team at a competitive disadvantage by running it back instead of blowing it up (I wanted to compete, but if you cant spend assets you blow it up before running it back). The team now is aiming for a low lottery pick like the majority of the years under his tutelage. I'm hoping though he actually got one decision right with Perry, so far so good in the little interactions though I'm not a fan of Kuminga
Its hard to discuss the issue with you because you seem biased towards him and continue with the Vivek fandom petulance not derived from being a normal Kings fan looking at the issue objectively quite apparently to the board (I suspect you might support him because of heritage), and your annoying the board now with off topic insertions. You constantly have something to say about the roster negatively, the direction, just about all of your posts are laden criticality, but lets support the renowned owner with a bad reputation! lol
A job of the owner is to be seen and not heard, and to cut the checks and to play no role in the teams formation. He doesn't need to actively be involved in all GM duties, but he shouldn't be involved in swaying the franchise with decisions.
The team has been a laughingstock under his guise, in large part because of his stupid decisions GM wise/coaching wise/direction wise (not tanking during those Cousins years or any years), and maybe actually in being the active GM but I suspect that may have been just earlier in his tenure. Its well recognized, search the net for ranking nba owners = we have a problem
