Almost any offense executed well will be better than what we had.

What a waste of Brunsons prime.

i'm not sure how he developed this reputation, because i assumed the same when his name was mentioned. but if you look into his actual coaching style it's not the same thing at all

the pelicans will let him go eventually...you don't want a assistant one foot out the door. A HC is one thing..but stopping an assistant from leaving a big pay raise would be a really bad look for there future of hiring good coaches.

Probably a 2nd headed their way eventually.

I'm sure we will have to kick them some small compensation but even the language by stein was they "preferred" he stayed...but they really aren't in a position to prevent him from leaving,.

Seems like Brown was their second choice after kid. Just surprised that he was the name they were so lasered focus about. Hopefully they can bring in Borrego and build out an offense that maximizes of Kat, Brunson, OG, and Mikal. Getting those guys to work is crucial.

I dont know how to feel about this….
Name doesn’t pop off the sheet, but it’s nonetheless a solid hire

Why didn’t we give Johnnie Bryant an interview at least ??

Agreed. Dude has a nice winning percentage for a reason. People will say oh because of LeBron but that Cleveland team had little going on besides LeBron and MB made it work. The fact is he took Sacramento to the playoffs. What else do you expect from a coach

If he says drive and spray one time...just once...I'm out.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Seems WWW's hands were heavy in both the firing and hiring.

Honestly I have no idea how anyone can compare him to Fizdale. Fizdale doesn’t have one tenth of the resume Mike Brown has. Like you can compare him to ten different other ex-Knick coaches and if the one that pops in mind is Fizdale, that is weird.

Brown has won titles as an assistant. I belive that matters for this team...I'm not mad at it i just want a string assistant staff.

Brown was my 3rd choice behind Malone and Kidd.

There just wasn't that Riley or Spo available so getting a guy from the Pop tree who coached Duncan, LeBum, Kobe and Curry and won COY 2x and revived the Kings is not bad at all.

But I'll give it to Christmas before we see a "Fire Brown" thread on here.
