He’s on the suspended list though. What is going on exactly?

This is a good look actually. Considering the situation we're coming from

He might even be an upgrade. Recently won coach of the year in Sacramento, he's coached in the NBA Finals as head coach with the Warriors when Kerr was out. Coached LeBron to his best records in Cleveland during LeBrons first stint. He has a lot of experience and in recent years has a lot of exposure and has contributed to championship caliber teams specifically the Warriors.

This might be a surprising successful move for the Knicks. I'm actually optimistic

What has this guy accomplished other than LeBron dragging him to a finals sweep 20 years ago, those kings teams never did anything, seriously what am I missing? This is the result of when you let perfect be the enemy of good

I don't get how you can see this as a massive downgrade from Thibs. If anything, it's replacing a veteran coach with another veteran coach of the same level.

He’s the best out of the available options. Hard to ignore who he’s learned under Pop and Kerr. Top passing and 2 man team In kings whether it’s his doing or not. Got credit for Warriors defense. We shall see. No great coaches was available.

If there were no coaches available why even make the change then? That excuse doesn’t really sit well with me. I was ok switching from Thibs if they had someone better in mind but I’m not sure that’s what happened.

Anyway I’ll give him a fair shot as long as towns is cool with him but I don’t like the move at first glance

the move was made because a majority of players were out on thibs...after that nothing else matters.
