No, it's definitely a bad title because it's misleading. Yes,
posters should read the post, but it would have taken 5 extra characters WITH the space to solve the problem instead of baiting them into it.

Nah, it’s not a bad title at all, winning 3x in a row is a 3peat.

I’m not gonna argue anymore with you, you showing up here and saying my thread title is bad would normally make me add you to ignore because I don’t want to interact with someone that says a pointless negative, but you’re a mod so I can’t. So what I’ll do is say what I feel which is, you’re a bad poster and I’m going to disregard you from now on.

You’re adding nothing constructive when you make a post that says “the thread title is bad”

Maybe it’s a constructive comment to reflect on the quality of your title. If that seems unreasonable to you, then maybe you’re a narcissist

a constructive comment says what a good title would be

imagine i said "you're doing a bad job" and nothing else, that is exactly what constructive is not.

showing up and saying "xxxx is terrible" is the definition of narcissistic behavior because you're not adding any value with suggestions for improvements, you're only making a statement of your own opinion and ego to define what something is, and that is narcissism

No.
With Castle and Fox he won't get enough minutes and touches.

Agreed. San Antonio has a guard problem.

No, I think Flagg will take the ROY and break up the streak for the Spurs.

I actually dont think Flagg will win ROY because I still expect Dallas to run absolutely everything through AD and AD will probably have a chip on his shoulder due to being utterly dismissed in the Luka trade. Not to mention that Washington and some of the other guys will probably want to make him earn his minutes in the rotation. I also think the Mavs and Nico have a mandate to win now(in 2 yrs or less) because of the Luka trade

I for one am loving posters outing themselves for not even reading beyond the headline.

Flagg doesn't need to score 25 to win ROY.

He may not even score 20, but it's worth remembering that they have nothing around them and AD is neither a 30 ppg scorer nor likely to play 70+ games anyhow. The chip on his shoulder is irrelevant, because he's still a big who can't attack regularly above the arc and needs setup time. This isn't 2017 anymore, you know? He's going to be 32, he hasn't even hit 26 ppg in like half a decade and he won't have anything like the passing support he enjoyed in LA, even more so while Kyrie's out. I wouldn't be expecting legendary things. He might start strong while he's healthy, but he can do only so much.

Meantime, only 3 of the last 14 ROYs scored 20+ ppg, so again, I don't really think that'll matter. If he's rebounding, defending, exciting people with dunks and all that, and scoring at least 15 ppg? He's likely to win it.

It would take a lot to overtake the Flagg narrative.

Question for Spurs fans - any indications on where Harper is on the depth chart at guard? Assume Murray is 1 right now. Is he behind Castle and Vassell?

I'm sure there is...to avoid guys getting dunked on :) But none the less it was hilarious and shows why so many posts here with nuance in the OP get such bad responses. Sometimes I assume it's just bad thinking or takes, but this shows people can't even take the time to read a paragraph.

We knew this well enough, but it's worth remembering that the original title was actually an infraction against Rule 11 in the Forum Rules which were reposted over a decade ago ;)

Castle can be a Tyreke Evans or Michael Carter Williams for all intents and purposes, and being the best of a meh rookie class doesn’t mean much.

If Flagg is like 50% of his hype, he should run away with the ROY. I have my doubts about Harper given how mediocre his team was.

Probably not. Harper will not have the same role as a lead option that some other rooks may have. Unless Fox goes down for an extended time it's extremely unlikely

Yea I think this is probably the biggest obstacle. He's going to play behind Fox and Castle, Flagg is probably going to start right out of the gate.
