Will Indiana finally get Ayton? They're the ones who gave him his last big contract in RFA that Phoenix matched and Portland just bought him out of.

Ayton signed with the Lakers, 2 years $16-17 million with a second year a PO.

Was Indy looking at Horford too? With Turner gone and Ayton to LAL, they have to be concerned about center.

Why did Turner leave a young contender?
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Cuz Indy was trying to lowball him, so that his salary didn't put them over the luxury tax level.

I wonder how low ball Indy was.

Sounds like they were capping it at 3 years (he got a 4-year deal from Milwaukee) with an average of $22 or $23M / year.

(Basically got 4 years at $26.5/year average from Milwaukee.)
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

Apparently he's looking for a 30-40M extension next year. Yikes ... I don't think he's going to get that, going to be a long off season for him

The Clippers must have the inside track on Beal. Why else would they trade Powell for Collins?

In other news, AD just had surgery to reattach a retina? Jebus. Doesn't sound too serious and he's expected back by training camp but still, is there an injury he has not had, yet?

Olynyk to the Spurs doesn't make much sense - unless he was acquired to flip to another team. Olynyk on the Dubs would make a lot of sense - as might Kuminga on the Spurs. If Kuminga ends up with a salary anywhere around what Olynyk is making this year ($13.45 million), then you gotta think there's a good possibility of the two being swapped.

That would be perfect. Put Kuminga on the Spurs, the team many have slated for Kerr in the future. :D

If such a deal were to go down, I would see it more as a buy low situation for the Spurs / favor done by Popovich for Kerr. The Spurs would then probably look to trade Kuminga next off-season.
