Chris Hine:
Tim Connelly on trading pick 31: “It was really curious how agent driven the 2nd round became. We called players left & right, and there was 20 deals done before the draft started. It was interesting. No. 31 is fun, but it’s probably not as fun as we thought was gonna be.”

Rich Paul is on the Phoenix Suns side confirmed.

Do the deal before he is shopped around (like Dalas did).

Lol, not happening.

At the end of the day I think that it's a LONG shot that LeBron is traded and I think Rich Paul and him are just putting a bit extra pressure to their FO to put a contender around him and Doncic.

I believe that he doesn't "love" to be a secondary ball handler next to Doncic...but he needs him at his old age.

No way the Lakers take Beal for LeBron. Just good fodder of course

I am sure the Lakers could find better deals to put around "My Name is Luka" than Bradley Beal.

Dallas would be Naji, PJ, Klay and Martin (none of whom expire this year so the dollars would be on the books next year)

The Knickbockers could offer: Mikal, Josh Hart and Robert Williams (but they just got Ayton

Suns: Bradley Beal

He would be the primary ball handler on the Suns. Last year of his career on the Suns - on opportunity to show the world he could do better than Durant, on opportunity to do what has never been done before, and an opportunity to add a huge acomplishment to the GOAT debate (would change my mind if he could advance this team). This team is missing balance - a point guard that's also a power forward, that's a leader, primary ball handler that can play D when engaged. We have the supporting cast (finally) - just missing a rare puzzle piece. LA would be better with Beal (than Lebron) now that they have Luka. Definitely a Long Shot - highly unlikely. But fun thought exercise.

Jake Fischer:
It's a two-year, $16.6 million agreement between Deandre Ayton and Los Angeles, hitting the Lakers' books for 2025-26 and 2026-27. Player option in Year 2.

If he’s good with a super limited role and we STILL don’t want him, I think that’s a mistake. This team is yearning for a veteran leader for young players and a young coach. CP3 is legitimately perfect. Just throw Brea onto a two way.
