Works financially for all parties. Opens a couple of roster spots for Orlando to pursue additional FA’s at the min. Everyone seems to benefit.
I'd do it. LAL should. BRK should (it's all about the picks and Goga's a solid placeholder while Jett gets a one year tryout). ORL re-ups Moe and signs some 7' vet like RoLo, Tristan Thompson, even Bamba...they just have to hang in there until Moe's back. I'd also spend some time in the summer experimenting with some faster-paced stuff with Penda and, possibly Isaac or Paolo at C. Bane and Tyus came from a fast-paced offense and it would certainly suit Suggs...I'm not talking full-conversion, but a different look to throw at teams that match up well with Paolo & Franz iso ball.
This is the kind of trade that makes us serious contenders in the East (and, if the chemistry clicks for the ring), not "in the mix" or "interesting"
Does it make us a little fragile at C - yes. That's life. We're already fragile throughout our frontcourt...major injuries generally sink seasons. If Jokic twists an ankle, DEN isn't a playoff team. If Giannis gets tummy ache, MIL isn't an NBA team, etc
