I agree He might be buy low and need a different environment type player
He would be interesting with Scottie Jakob BI Dick
He can play D when he is focused

If Toronto makes a trade and wants to keep under the tax, I'd be looking at Chicago as a trade partner.

Williams is overpaid for his current contract at $19m a season, while White is the main centerpiece at only $12m a season. White is a player that is ready to become a star offensive weapon and Chicago is possibly pivoting with Giddey in the future.

Overall, Toronto gains a defender who does Ochai type things while being bigger, and Coby White who can play either guard spot and offers more outside shooting depth. This year the team saves $4m in the trade which helps prevent us from being an over-the-tax team.

In sum:
+PG depth
+saves money
+defensive gain

Ya I don't get it as well, Monk shot 32% from 3 last season.....plus it doesn't make sense for Kings either, they already have Demar
