Looks like volpe just waived at that one and it carried that far.

Is this a demoralizing loss for the Yankees or a moral victory?

I hope this means Hoffman is back. Can’t believe we pulled it out. This is the TSN turning point. Officially tied for first and no looking back.

The craziest game I have seen in years. Wish the 2022 Seattle Choke Job in the Wild Card could have ended like this. Difference is you have Straw in the outfield and not a scrub like Tapia, making critical plays defensively.

Hugely demoralizing loss, imagine if the Jays came back to tie in that spot and still lost and used all their high leverage guys. Brutal.

It’s funny because they probably should’ve walked judge and they didn’t and it cost them. But then the Yankees probably should’ve just pitched to vlad, but then they walked him and it cost them an out.

Awesome to see Barger and Schneider swinging it. Just like that, Schneider's OPS is above .800.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

That wasn’t a particularly good splitter there to end it but his stuff is looking better of late. FB velo is back up.

Credit to Straw for being the defender he is in CF. Call me ignorant, but I never realized he was this elite defensively. I thought he was decent, but the guy has been exceptional.

He should be in the game at the end of any lead for the rest of the season even after Varsho comes back.
