DET should consider themselves lucky. Schroder has changed teams 10 times since 2020. I’m not sure how or why but the guy wears out his welcome extremely quickly.

I don’t get it for Dennis. He finally found a team that liked him and he had a successful postseason. He didn’t fit with so many teams, why risk by going to the freaking kings? Maybe he just cashed in? I will change my opinion if he got the bag

He starts in Sacramento, pistons have Ivey, although he's coming off an injury

Maybe he wants to be on the west coast

Sounds like this could end up being a sign and trade. Rumors are Monk could be going to Detroit.

Dennis is an interesting player. He was good in Brooklyn and Detroit, but the Warriors couldn't wait to get rid of him

Not trying to hate, vice-versa, I follow his career for over a decade, and he is always awesome in international ball, but I think his 34% from 3 in 75 regular season games last season, same % in 842 career RS games and again same % in 74 career postseason games are a better predictor that a 6-game sample size.
At least at this point of his career he is no more that a bench player/situational starter, and def not for $14M AAV.
Is he even better than Tre Jones at this point? Maybe, IDK (I watched Dennis a lot - Jones not so much).
Now add to the consideration Tre Jones is much younger and will earn just over half of what Schroder makes per year.
And it's not like Tre Jones is considered some kind of FA steal, it's a fair money for his skills/role.
