Random one off..
Prosper and Powell for anyone on your bench that you don’t want to see anymore that makes under 5 million?
If Dallas left themselves any breathing room from the second apron, Saric makes sense? Or Saric for Martin? Or Naji for Saric and a couple seconds?

Sac fans seem to love Martin, do they have cap space to take him outright? Id trade him for Saric and 2nds if need be

Everyone should like Martin. No one should love him though..
I would guess his injury/play in Dallas makes him closer to neutral than positive and Dallas probably can’t push for second(s) back.
Saric for Martin is legal with the new CBA.

Yea I think a lot of the hate was from how Grimes played post-trade and Martin was just not available, but I've always been a fan of his. I'd rather have him than Klay, but that's another story. Saric is a complete waste of a roster spot, so it would depend on the 2nds coming back, and should be plural.

Saric would be the buyout to sign Exum at that point, no?

Yeah, that was the point. Open the room from second apron to be able to avoid stretching anyone..

yeah was trying to explain to daone, that he wouldn't have a roster spot, he's just a financial tool so he doesn't have to worry about it.

Ahh, and we need to cut someone, yeah Id be on board with that. We need 2nds from all the ones we wasted. Im still annoyed at how much we wasted to get Delon Wright and then to trade him.

That, of course, is the problem with much of America and the world where they read click-bait headlines without reading substance.
Some might even call is MadNESS!
The teams are Rockets, Suns, Lakers, Wolves, Hawks, Nets, Warriors
I think it involves Kuminga moving. So I think it is new.
Nah...I mean NAW!
Wolves traded up with Lakers
Suns traded up with Warriors
Suns traded up with Nets
Suns traded up with Wolves
Suns traded KD to Houston
NAW S+T to Hawks
That covers all 7 teams
Right. These draft night trade ups help with the “touch” rules for a larger trade, but I came to the conclusion that the only real reason for MIN to be included in this trade is the later NAW S&T. This deal allows MIN to legally absorb over $7 mil (NAW would be BYC), but I wouldn’t expect MIN to take back more than half that amount, to stay under the second apron. But who?
So, of [PHX, HOU, ATL, BRK, GSW, LAL, MIN], which teams need to dump some cheap salary or create roster space?.
If it helps narrow down the player going to the Wolves, win-now MIN’s rotation definitely needs a short term back up center, and ball-handler, probably a PG .. until their prospects can develop into stronger rotation pieces?

Frank Vogel hired as Mavs assistant. I guess we can take any small win we can, I like it. Losing Shamgod and Sweeney hurt, and letting Nuggets get Barea, but this is something. I say bring some Mavs goodwill back and go get Jason Terry to be an assistant.

Who says no? Thybulle gives the LAKERS a defensive specialist.
The Blazers are loaded on the wing, getting a 3D guard. I think it's a better positional fit for both teams.
Portland.
We're going to need at least some sort of asset to trade Thybulle. There is no role for Vincent on the Blazers.

I wanted to give Money's post a bump because I'm liking it the more I think about it from the Mavs POV. PP is a solid player who can hit the 3 and run the offense while Ky is out. Seems like a guy that will fit with the frontcourt and Klay who Nico refuses to admit was a mistake. This would also limit D-Lo's minutes and preserve Exum so he doesnt get hurt as much. Im assuming Niang from Bos and Williams from Dallas would have to be involved to make the money work?
Dallas would then need to trade one of Niang/Naji/Claeb for a backup 5 and actually have a competent offseason besides the draft and extensions.
I’d pass on this from Boston.
Prichard and his contract are simply too valuable. I’d rather search for guys who can eat minutes at the 5 then find guards who can score 15-18 points with elite shooting.
Totally get that, his bargain contract is just one of the reasons I like him as a target for Dallas. I think he fits and from what I remmeber is friends with Cooper, so win win
Makes sense. He’d be a great fit for Dallas.
By the way, I grew up in Maine. Cooper is a living legend up here already. You won’t find a better kid who works hard and just cares about ball and his family.
Take care of our boy! Lots of New Englanders fully adopting Dallas as their second favorite team.

Yea he seems awesome. Pretty much polar opposite of AD who doesn't play after sneezing or Luka who likes hookah and food more than the games that pays him 200 mil. I see Coop as Dirk like in attitude and work ethic

He is an innovative and respectable defensive coach. Offensively he needs to rely on his assistants but as an assistant he is going to get the most, defensively, out of the roster.

He was a consultant for Dallas last year--not sure exactly his duties. They didn't think he would come back to the bench for an assistant job and because he's still getting Laker money was okay with a smaller paycheck for smaller role.
So yeah pretty good they talked him into since they lost their top 3 assistants from last year.

Do we know if Triano is an offensive guy? Because I don't trust Kidd completely with the offense especially in the games before Kyrie.
