3 team deal is being discussed.

I would throw in the towel if this is the best the Warriors can do with JK.

Hard to understand it if this is the trade.

Would rather let him walk.

Potentially, there are 2 second rounders also coming.

If they do this trade, does this essentially take them out of the running for anything good at the deadline? This would be their full roster all year.

Or do they sign jk and just wait when they don't have to deal with the byc at the deadline. If so, they might have no choice but to feature jk to drive up his value because clearly he doesnt have one right now

Maybe that's the hang up.

What does Detroit send out in this scenario?

Miami's asking price for wiggins is really high, so this could explain the pivot to deal with Sacramento.

Carter isn’t terrible. Had a terrible offensive year hopefully due to the shoulder but he’s a good defender and causes disruptions. Should be a 2 way guard at some point and those type of guys play in the playoffs.

This is somewhat interesting, this sounds like GS will be making a decision on Kuminga soon. Maybe they resign him to move later since they're not getting much offered now. The 100% out and only 50% in really limits what GS can get.

Sounds like this is the best option. Other teams are lowballing so bad that Kerr screaming might be the best thing.

FWIW, Pistons reporter saying GS holding up the deal, I imagine looking for more. Would think Ellis over Saric

The Kings FO has been awful, there's no way we take the poop package being discussed for JK. If we do I would lose a lot of faith in MDJ, but I highly doubt that happens.

They will cave and give a decent asset if Vivek wants Kuminga.

This is painful that such a deal is even this close to being accepted by the Warriors. Does Kerr really hate JK that much that he threatened to quit if JK returned? I can't figure out else why the Warriors would make such a panic move. Did they not learn anything from the Wiseman trade debacle?

What’s the alternative? Sign him in a misguided hope that he’ll be worth more at a bigger salary down the line of another season where he struggles to fit in the system?

I mean if we get back Ellis it's 100000% worth trading him. Perhaps if they don't get what they want they won't do the deal. Let's see how it plays out.

So, you're fine with Ellis/Carter in, Kuminga out?

If we get both Ellis and Carter that would be a steal. I might even throw in a 26 1st lottery protected.

Thanks. From a cap standpoint, I would be good with that.

That's crazy man.

If the Kings are willing to pay JK and give up a second year player on a rookie deal, Warriors don't need to add a FRP in a loaded draft.

Carter is unproven and Ellis is just a role player.

Yeah that would be a trade I'd do, Keon is a 6'6 shooting guard with a career 43% from 3 and plays good defense. I doubt the Kings want to give him up, but... they are the Kangz.
