I’d agree except the deal itself no longer seems to have been a mistake.

We don’t get Turner without the Middleton trade.

Of course that doesn’t necessarily mean we should keep Kuzma any longer than we have to or play him more than we should either.

Yea I just meant about the Kuzma at the 3 lineup/plan as the mistake. Not the trade salary dump in itself. Hey perhaps there was a better dump out there, but have to trust they did the best they could.

I guess another thing to note on the topic would be that Mids could be a buyout guy and could fit well back here mid season if healthy. Especially if Kuzma is dumped so there's one less 3/4 on the roster. Trade Kuzma for a 1-3 type guy now, sign Mid as a backup 3/4 at the deadline

Honestly, our collective bbiq is so low that I might be into this as long as he understands he's more of an on court coach

Can we trade the picks currently under pick swap restriction outright to Nee Orleans in a deal for Trey Murphy?

Not a lot to the story, although much of that is due to memory. I lived in Madison for part of the sixties and early seventies and Ginsberg gave a reading, probably early seventies. I can't remember where it was but it might have been in the Union theater in the Memorial Union. Anyway, i went up to him with many others and just listened to him talk to others who knew much more about his work than I did.

I also think I saw him in Milwaukee with a bunch of other well known (at the time) "beat" poets. I remember driving from Madison to Milwaukee to see them, but the year is foggy (not because of my age but because of what I put in my body at the time). :banghead:

I also think he came to Milwaukee years later but I didn't see him then.

I have great admiration for him and others who were their own person at a time (1940s and 50s) when being different was hard. Come to think of it, it's always hard.

I have better stories, like smoking dope with Dennis Hopper and being invited to a post concert party at the Pfister with Tina Turner, Ike and the Ikettes (ran into Joan Rivers in the elevator while going up to the party).

Now I've exhausted all my celebrity stories.

Oh, and fire Doc.

We owe the 26 swap rights to Atlanta now and 27 outright to New Orleans

i wonder if New Orleans would give us back 27 in a Herb Trade if we include 31 and 32

Trey Murphy for Kuzma AJJ and Tyler Smith works in trade checker. If 31 first and 32 swap gets it done we have to do that. I doubt Dumars loves AJJ or Smith but who knows.

I love that everyone counts us out. No pressure. As I have said a few times, if we are top four in the East come playoff time and somehow make it to the ECF or further then Giannis will get the credit he deserves.

Philly jumping 11 spots because they drafted Edgecombe is…. bizarre.

It’s gonna really suck if we have to watch Kuzma all the way until the trade deadline. Come on Horst, finish the job!

Lol

I swear some of you just watch the ball go in and then who the camera pans to after.

Reaves is incredibly skilled and is worth wayyyy more than Green.

I didn't say AJ is Austin Reeves the player. All I was saying was AJ is our Austin Reeves that's all.
