Would have to think he won't have trouble finding a spot as those teams need to fill buildings and he helps with that.

Milwaukee has two vet min prospects outside of Green left though, I have no idea what their tax space looks like?

But.. any player making 8.5 mil or less available for whatever scraps Milwaukee can trade? Low bar guys, if Milwaukee doesn’t want to include their future first? Not quite KJM low.. But low..

Any third or fourth year guard who is worth a distant first whose team would shop them?

Would Boston trade Niang and a couple seconds for some more lower end prospects and another 5 mil of tax space?

I guess it depends on what type of lower end prospects? If you mean actual prospects then maybe. If you mean just guys that are heading out of the league then no.
I think guys like Minot and Garza, where you can see that maybe they have something that hasn’t been tapped, that’s probably what Boston might be interested in. Niang is a useful guy and not on a bad contract so I sot GBI k a pure dump where they send assets is something they would look at unless there is some clear reason …like maybe that gives them room to sign Horford or something.

I don’t know much about either Milwaukee player (Tyler Smith or Andre Jackson Jr)… but they are the two contracts Milwaukee can stack to bring back an 8.5~ mil player. Two early second round picks, maybe loved by Mil and this is a terrible idea.

From the article, it seems as if Troy Weaver was the driving force behind the trade.

I'm sure Boston would trade Niang. Whether that's a good idea for the Bucks is another issue.

There's no way both teams didn't already know about this. Guessing Denver didn't want JVal they wanted the buyout savings

Salaries in Europe are net, so 4M Euro is very close to that he'd make in DEN of not more, and you live in Greece, with all due respect to the Rockies.

Ayo was who I was looking at. Or trading distant unprotected first for Ivey (assuming they get Monk?) or McCain..

But for Ayo I wouldn’t tie up my future firsts? Would try to build value with the swaps

2026 Milwaukee swap (worse of NOP/OKC) to Washington for the OKC pick
2-3 seconds from Washington (and any Mil own) to Chicago

And Tyler Smith / Jackson to whichever of the two teams want them.

But either of those two prospects might be valued higher than I am giving credit for. Just was looking at their salary slot.

Livingston got released, so I don't know if there's a Niang deal left.

Simons, Tillman and a 26 2nd for Kuzma and their 27 first.

Sounds horrible at first. And second. And third. But about the 8th, 9th time, it starts sounding less bad. Bucks get badly needed guard scoring and an emergency big / possible 10-11th man. Cs get a first and save $7M. Then just hope nobody notices the difference as he slides in for Tatum.
