He would easily be the smartest guard that Giannis has ever played with and if we could get him for the minimum, we’d be dumb not to. I’m not for CP replacing Rollins though, so in an ideal world, we’d sign both.
Yet I think this all ends up with him on the west coast and we try to get the next biggest name (Westbrook).
Westbrook fits what we’re building, let him spell Giannis and just go out there and attack the rim or hit shooters.

yeah, that's nowhere near how i would value Wiggins. however... maybe Miami is just trying to take full advantage of their desperation. could be one of those scenarios where you see this big ask get reported and the final deal turns out to be significantly less.
i'm not moving any picks for Wiggins. he had a great year that title year in Golden State but he has never looked like that guy away from Kerr and Steph. Seems more like an empty stats guy. if we were OKC and needed a rotation wing, sure, but you can't trade a 1st for him in our situation. you just can't.

If the Lakers want a combo forward who can defend, we got just the guy, and the Lakers don't have to give up their picks, and he's $5 million cheaper this year, and $9 million cheaper next year.

Who is the best on court fit with Giannis? 3-D who otherwise doesn’t touch the ball? We need secondary creation outside of Gianni’s. We don’t win in 2021 without Khris.

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions - A Plethora of Moves
The guy that would actually fit the CP3 role being discussed here is Conley Jr, same IQ type stuff but no attitude bs. 1 year 10ish mil left on his deal. I don't really see a way that it makes sense to get him. I'd bet MN wants to shed the salary but would want to do it an a way to not take much if any back, which we'd struggle with. I'd much rather use the roster spot on Rollins and lock him in for years for cheap and hope you get lucky that he takes a leap to Nembhard or Bos White type player. Could solve the problem for years rather than have to try again next year. Plus its not like MKE is in "title" mode to want that proven vet to get over the hump

We just saw how a slow, rock pounding PG who can't defend anyone ruined the Bucks. Let's not do that again.
We were dramatically better when we played PGs who were smart enough to realize the offense should run through Giannis

But either way, he needs to be gone before opening day.
We talk a lot on here about not wasting another prime year of Giannis, but Turner also turns 30 next year as well. You can’t be wasting prime seasons of this front-court pairing by half-assing the re-tool like we did after the Dame trade where we just sat on our hands. Finish the job.
I agree totally with this, but am not convinced the Bucks want to get rid of Kuzma. We're assuming they are looking for a way out and we have no evidence of that. Please prove me wrong Horst.
This is exactly what I'm worried about too. Seems anyone with eyes saw that Kuzma should not be playing more than spot minutes as a '3'. However, thus far all their moves seem to point to them planning to start him as the 3 and double down on the mistake from last year.
Not that I'd want it, but lets say they had to trade or let go Bobby. I could at least see the logic of Kuzma as the 6th man and can play the 4 whenever Giannis/Turner rest or miss games. And occasional big lineups with them. Sure, ok, I don't want it but I get it. But now that we have Bobby in that role it makes no sense to keep Kuzma. And based on what they tried last year it seems they think he can be a 3, I'm starting to worry they don't realize they were wrong yet. They've done a lot right in the lasat few days to make the team have a glimmer of a chance, but this combined with keeping Doc could torpedo it all. Or lead to yet another deadline trade to shake it all up and continue with the chaos.
He has the only substantial tradeable salary on the roster. He gone. If not now, during the season.

Sure, he's a better passer than Dame, most PGs are, but the best offenses in today's NBA move the ball, and Paul doesn't move the ball. He gets lots of assists individually, but his team gets less assists.

ONe would think right. But after that flurry of moves happened and he's still here I'm now I'm worried they are the only people that don't see. Like that they think he can play the 3 primarily so are planning to roll with him at, like last year was just cold spell or something. Long way to go until the season though, so hopefully you're right.

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions - A Plethora of Moves
The team should be getting smaller, not any bigger.
Add a few guards, trade Kuzma and firsts for a wing upgrade
The 3 guard lineups is where the team thrived, why should we stop doing that?
CP3/Rollins/??
Trent/KPJ/Harris
Kuzma trade/Green/Ajax
Giannis/Bobby/TP
Turner/Sims/Smith

So, in a remarkable twist of fate given all the **** i talked today, i just sat down to dinner and AJ Green and his wife are sitting at the table next to me. Im not going to take a pic so youll just have to trust me.
Now the question is... Does he live here year round or is he here for the extension?
