Yep, but I'm hoping for a better breakdown. Like for example, how a certain category was for the top six contracts or something. Or what player happiness is (assuming it's about trades). Or how future/youth is calculated.

Franchise success is simple...based on the last three years results. Each team gets ranked 1-30 based on playoff results and regular season record. So the Champion is ranked #1 and the runner up is #2. Two teams that lost in the semis are #3-4 based on regular season winning percentage and so on...

Spoiler:

Youth/Future is based on overall age of your highest six paid players. Teams are ranked 1-30 based on these ages which accounts for half the ranking for the category. Other half is based on future draft capital. Lakers have nine first round picks plus some seconds over the next three years so they were ranked first in draft assets. Toronto has one first round pick and no seconds in the next three years (fewest amount of draft capital possible) so they were ranked #30.

Star player is based on highest ranked player on your roster according to a few sources that I have used throughout the years. Top six players this year were Jokic, Giannis, LeBron, Tatum, AD and Wemby.

Player happiness is the one metric that we use that is a bit subjective on my part. The sim rates the mood of each team throughout the season. Most teams are rated the same or basically the same so I do use some judgement based on how I believe a player would feel about the direction of the organization along with the loyalty, GM activity, etc. to break ties and determine how "happy" a player would be with their team.

The freeze will stay on until I can get my new laptop...the one I am currently using is freezing constantly and it's really annoying when I start moving players around and then I have to restart my computer and start over. I'm away the last month of July and will hopefully have the new laptop when I get back first week of August. Once that happens, I will unfreeze the rosters, update any moves which have been made and set a date for FA.
