That's the name of the restaurant, how did you know?

No worries, that's fine. You'll still be here to tell us how badly the next one sucks.

Absolutely. Knicks are loading up on late round scrubs and UDFA guys.

His age and athleticism make him interesting, but he's going to have to improve on a lot of weaknesses in his game, like shooting. Nothing wrong with a 19 year old summer league signing.
BKlutch wrote:He's raw and he's young, and needs to shoot better. But I think if we don't keep him around as a project, one day we'll feel bad he's playing for the competition.

There's a report out there that NY has signed Pate to a two-way deal. This means they have his rights and he could see time with the team this year, granted, as a buried deep on the bench kind of way, but if the reports are accurate, he's going to play for Westchester and possibly a bit for the Knicks this year, and he'll be in the mix next season as well. I haven't seen anything official, so grain of salt.

They still have room for a vet minimum, a rookie contract and two more two-way contracts (I think).
I thought Dink showed enough, given his age, to be worth a two-way.
In addition to the usual 15-man rosters, NBA teams are permitted to carry up to three players on two-way contracts. Two-way deals essentially give clubs the NBA rights to three extra players, though they often spend much of the season in the G League rather than with the NBA team. While two-way players don’t count toward the 15-man regular season roster limit, they do count toward the 21-man offseason limit.
Over the course of the 2025 offseason and 2025/26 season, we’ll keep tabs on how many players are on each NBA team’s roster, breaking them down into a few groups. Here are the various categories you’ll find in our list:
Official: These players are officially under contract with a given team. The total number of players under contract is listed, with the number of players on fully guaranteed contracts noted in parentheses. So a team with 12 guaranteed contracts, one partially guaranteed contract, and two non-guaranteed deals will be listed as “15 (12).”

Is this correct? Or the most likely guess?

I think that's pretty much correct. McCullar hasn't signed yet, so he could be a rookie contract or a two-way or they could start him as a two-way and convert him to a rookie contract mid-year like they did with Huk last year.
Diawara & Nnaji could be stashed in Europe and not signed to a two-way deal, though I think Nnaji left his team in Europe to practice with NY, so that might be awkward for him.
There's still a few ways it could end up. They can also go into the year (2 weeks) with less than the required 14 players. I don't know if the savings if they do that would be useful later in the year.

McCullar is not a rookie anymore, he played 4 games last year.
