Its a massive pill to swallow just buying out 102 million… its unheard of.. and if im not mistaken, the suns ownership group just are closing in on the whitesox…

Buyouts ranging 5-15 million happens often.. that 20-30 range has happened but rarely.. 113 million is insanity which is why my jaw was on the floor when the bucks announcement came

So for beal, for the massive savings ishbia’s ownership group would have by getting expirings instead of footing a 102 million buyout and how healthy their cap will be. 2 unprotected firsts is more than fair.

They can do a waive and stretch and eat 25 million in dead cap space for the next 4 years of bookers prime too

Like actually tho. Younger, cheaper, and better at this point in their careers.

At similar stages, Beal was alot better. In 2 years, when herro is getting 50M+? The comparison won't be so outrageous. Beal at some sort of min contract might have better value.

Miami working with PHX for Beal is actually pretty interesting.

Beal cant be the solution, so Miami would be trying to milk some pix from them to get them out of that contract.

This really feels like a change in perspective internally. Theyve probably gotten frustrated from not having enough ammo for any trade.

Feels like the 3 headed hydra of Andy, Adam and Nick are pushing for a more sustainable solution. Rozier may have been the last straw.

Riley will continue to be the face of the executive group and the media man but his input and perspective behind the scenes is likely a little tangential to the others.

There is no one trade that can make the roster a title contender

IIRC the last time LeBron left his team was on 4th of July.

I will say before Dame was sent to Milwaukee and Beal went to Phoenix Miami was both of their preferred destination. We might have a rare opportunity to add 2 all star level players for the minimum and have solid trade assets
