If we're going to retire him, they better do it with a 10 day contract cameo or something. Dude needs to finish a Buck

As much as we harped on his flaws, Bucks don’t win that title without his rim protection and floor spacing. Even had that Brook Lopez game in the ECF when Giannis was out and they needed him most. And that late game block on KD in game seven.

Went from a vet min contract after riding the pine in LA to being one of the guys to revolutionize the spacing in the league. Probably the first true center to embrace high volume three point shooting.

And still the Nets all time leading scorer, which is hilarious.

The fans will miss him.

What is worse, so will the Bucks.

Love Brook. He normalized being corny.

Brook's transformation from a low post scoring all-star to a 3 & D center (still performing at an all-star level) is really impressive. His skill level at his size is greatly underrated.

He might genuinely get his jersey retired by the Nets too. He is their all-time leading scorer. Not THAT uncommon. He'd be the 15th player. But would probably be the least famous name to do so.

The thing I'll always remember about Brook is when things got chippy at the end of a game and it looked like trouble, he watched over his teammates like a german shepherd ready to pounce if needed. Yes, he had a twin, but he was one of a kind. Number 11 better be in the rafters when he's done.

How about when he looks like he is Going to murder an opponent and then seems ready to laugh and give the guy a hug

He turns from angry giant to goofy teddy bear

Brook was always meant to be here . Even when our stupid GM and the cronies took Joe Alexander over him. Idiots.

This might been the most wholesome Appreciation Thread I've seen. Much deserved mind you.
