LeBron James: Perhaps the most surprising rumor is the speculation connecting LeBron James to the Knicks. While a long shot, some outlets are breaking down potential trade scenarios and what it would mean for the Knicks.

Masai Ujiri: With Masai Ujiri parting ways with the Raptors, the Knicks have been mentioned as a potential suitor for his services in their front office.

Where is this from?

It could definitely be Knicks for clicks though Dolan has wanted him as part of the organization for years.

If the Knicks gave Masai a job, they'd finally get some long 6-9 players...lots of them...but none that can shoot.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

If you look at the Knicks FO staff they have a lot of titles that don’t really illustrate duties are even the hierarchy…. So they could assign him whatever they want and give him a title that would look good on a resume.

I still think this is Knicks for clicks based on older rumors. Unless we hear something from an actual reporter.

I'd rather give Beal the minutes than Clarkson tbh

yeah but they already came to this agreement with clarkson. bad business to have him just sitting on the bench.

maybe they pull an Austin Rivers

Too many chefs in the kitchen. If Leon knew what he was doing, he wouldn’t need all of these other people.

You think Jerry West would need 4 other ex-GMs to make a decision?

One of Bridges or Hart must be traded

Salary cap wise too we need some flexibility too

Sign Beal after he gets waived and add Di Vincenzo or Grimes and a playmaking backup forward for either of those two

Adding Beal would be tremendous for depth....

Signing Masaj would be great too. Maybe Leon is planning on retiring in the next couple years and Masaj would be a phenomenal successor....

The New York Knicks have been very active recently, with some major developments in their coaching staff and ongoing rumors regarding potential roster changes.

Here's a breakdown of the latest Knicks news and rumors:

Coaching Change:

Mike Brown Hired as Head Coach: The most significant news is the Knicks officially hiring Mike Brown as their new head coach. He takes over from Tom Thibodeau, who was let go after a disappointing playoff run. Brown, a two-time NBA Coach of the Year, is expected to bring a blend of contemporary offense and traditional defense, along with a calm demeanor under pressure.

James Borrego Expected as Assistant: There's buzz that James Borrego, former Charlotte Hornets head coach, could become a top assistant under Mike Brown.

Rick Brunson to Remain on Staff: Jalen Brunson's father, Rick Brunson, is expected to remain on the coaching staff. Jalen Brunson humorously reacted to this news on social media.

Trade Rumors:

Giannis Antetokounmpo: Rumors persist about the Knicks' interest in Giannis Antetokounmpo, especially after the Milwaukee Bucks' early playoff exit and reports of Giannis being "displeased" with some of their offseason moves (like waiving Damian Lillard). The Knicks are reportedly considered favorites to land him if he requests a trade.

LeBron James: While there were some rumors about LeBron James potentially joining the Knicks, an insider has reportedly shut down that speculation, stating it's "chatter but no."

Mikal Bridges & Mitchell Robinson: There have been reports that the Knicks are having trade conversations involving Mikal Bridges and Mitchell Robinson.

I would trade Hart for sure. He completely took our offense out of rhythm in the playoffs, and at 19M a year, we need someone w/ more offensive game/ more reliable shooting

would love to bring Grimes back (DiVo too). 25, can shoot, defend, and create off dribble. would be a no-brainer if they could actually swing it

Listened to the pod and it seemed like windy shot down the lebron to Knicks part mostly. I assume this is just strictly Giannis.
Obviously we have some Depth now but if it’s true the Knicks have still reached out to some
Vet free agents I’d assume a consolidation trade would be happening. I just don’t know what the bucks would want. Especially if the rumors of Knicks wanting to pair giannis to towns and Brunson.

I’d assume both OG and bridges goes out and then maybe Mitch re routed elsewhere for another wing.

Brunson / deuce / ? / Giannis / towns
Kolek / Clarkson / dadiet / Yabusele/ Huk

Is that really worth it. I mean giannis is yes. But I feel like that depth gets cooked

He was the best three point shooter on the Japanese Olympic team, put up a solid effort despite being overmatched. He’s got a herky jerky poor man’s Manu type game. Highly doubt his chances at making an NBA roster but he should en entertaining!

Giannis gotta make the move tho. Bucks aren't trading 1 of the best players in franchise history/league history without him asking out. he's a cash cow, esp. given that Giannis is an international player

what's he waiting for tho? he's given the Bucks everything and now they are maxed out talent-wise. signing CP3 and Beal won't turn them into a contender, he needs to ask out

I get the feeling Leon would keep KAT since he was his agent and they are close. a potential deal probably centers around OG, Mikal, Hart, and/or Mitch, which is cool w/ me b/c Brunson, KAT, Giannis + a bunch of vet mins would still be the best team in the NBA

Giannis....c'mon man. ask out, and ask to be traded to the Knicks. NYC has a big greek community, no better place
