Yeah it's said that yahoo has basically just turned into an aggregator similarly to SI.

The five-time All-Star isn’t the speedster he was in his slimmer days.

When the hell was Luka a "speedster"?

He was not a speedster  but he was much faster during his rookie year and definitely slimmer.

Well money talks and the Lakers can give him the most money. He already lost over 100 million since the Mavs traded him and didn’t get the super max.

The thing about Joker… well he makes more than whatever team in Europe entire payroll.

Not to say that Luka would join Jokic. But NBA history tells us that when mega star wants to leave and have a team in his mind, assets and cap space normally wouldn't matter.

How are the Nuggets going to create enough money to sign Luka without gutting all of their depth? Their roster is easily going to be a 1st apron team next Summer,Assuming Christian Brunn is getting a pay rise and moving Jamaal Murray isn't going to be easy, unless he has a career year. The Spurs have far more pathways to bring Luka in and he likes being in Texas, which would also give the Spurs an advantage.

I’ll take this seriously if he doesn’t sign an extension this offseason. But I’d be surprised if he didn’t

Doncic for Murray. Jokic gets his fat, alchocolic, declining Euro brother, while Laker fans get their superstar, clutch guard that carried Jokic to the championship. Win win right?

Yeah I wouldn't believe Yahoo! reporting, they're as reputable as Sky News.

Yahoo Sports is just AI garbage these days. I blocked them from appearing on my browser feed.

The point is if the mega star only wants one team and really want to force his way, that team would do everything to make it work. It doesn't matter how many assets other teams have.

Who among us imagined that they would be aggregating Bleacher Report articles even a decade ago? You might as well just take a post from RealGM and aggregate it for clicks, since anyone can write for Bleacher Report.

No, it would not be. :D

Giannis in PAO, Jokic in PAOK and PAOK winning would be my preferred option. :D

Right, though also 'Yahoo Sports' isn't doing anything here. The article is written by a freelance writer who posts to the Sporting News, it looks like Yahoo maybe sometimes hosts some of their articles. And yeah as you said the whole thing is an empty 'what if' that's just repeating some other person's speculations: "However, suppose the Lakers' newly acquired 6-foot-6 superstar doesn’t like the trajectory the Lakers are on in a few years. In that case, Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus has a hunch he could leave for the Denver Nuggets to help Nikola Jokic."

See above. Yahoo still has their own writers who are of various quality but not doing stuff like this. Not defending them, just explaining.

What a garbage article, this is the last paragraph:

Although a Doncic and Jokic tandem in Denver would be captivating to witness nightly following James’ inevitable exit from the NBA, it’s unlikely Doncic will leave an organization that’s planning to build a competitive future around him in a large market.

So basically, never mind everything we just said

lol @ anyone leaving to go to Denver. Jonas just decided to leave the entire NBA just to avoid playing there. Trash article by Yahoo.

You guys have wet dreams of Luka. Well guess what, he's a Laker. And will be a Laker. He will have his jersey retired here fast forward 15 years. Time to wake up accept reality.

Depends on what he's driving that day.

Ngl, I used to get fooled by SI clickbait because I thought it was still reputable. I refuse to click on any SI articles.

I will probably do the same for Yahoo Sports as well because I thought they were more credible.

I agree this is less than likely but it's still funny that Denver owns LA when it comes to basketball over the past 5 years despite this fact.

Ok, i get it, Партизан and PAOK have a real bond and i respect A LOT both of those teams, but show sympathy to PAO too, don't forget we have also something that unites us (I mean, the GOAT Željko) :D
