Beal to Heat, Wiggins to Lakers, Rozier + Vincent + Kleber to Suns

Ill offer this idea for
-Miami lands Beal as starting guard next to Herro along with further picks
-Lakers to land a starting wing whom they could look to get him to opt out of player option next summer
-Suns get expirings for Beal while giving up a 1st to re-tool in summer of 2026

To Miami (Trade Rozier + Wiggins)
-Bradley Beal (2 years, $110.8 million)
-2031 Lakers 1st round pick (lottery protected)
-2032 Suns 1st round pick (1-3 protected)

To Los Angeles Lakers (Trade Vincent, Kleber, protected 1st)
-Andrew Wiggins (1 year, $28.2 million plus $30 million P.O.)

To Phoenix (Trade Beal, protected 1st)
-Terry Rozier (1 year, $26.6 million)
-Gabe Vincent (1 year, $11.5 million)
-Maxi Kleber (! year, $11 million)

Why?
-The Heat swap out Rozier for Beal, ship out Wiggins and 26-27 cap hit for Beal at the expense of getting 2 distant future 1st round pick

Herro/Mitchell/Jacku/
Beal/FA?/Larsson
Jaquez/Highsmith/Fontecchio
Jokic/Anderson/Johnson
Adebayo/Ware/Love

-The Lakers get greater wing depth after losing DFA for expirings/non-rotational players. They could look to lock up WIggins on a new deal nex summer if he opts out and signs like a 3 year, $60 million deal.

Reaves/Knecht/Milton
Wiggins/Vanderbilt/
James/Hachimura/Laravia
Ayton/Hayes/FA?

-The Suns use expirings and a distant 1st to get out of the Beal contract as I assume Beal would waive his NTC to play in South Beach.

How badly do you want Beal? Cause that PHX '32 1st cant be traded

I'm surprised there are reports Miami would be interested in acquiring Beal at such a steep price. I think Miami takes this deal, although I have a feeling Miami may not accept such heavy protection on the Lakers' pick given they are not trading anything but expirings.

For me it would either have to be something closer to top-5 protection OR if the 2031 pick is in the lottery, then Miami gets a swap option (top-5 protected and would become an unprotected pick the following year). Something like that.

The protection on those picks makes me not at all interested in taking on Beal. But him out. We'll sign him for free. It let him go elsewhere. No need to help other teams if we're not actually getting value.

If Riley gets Beal at 20/2, he'd have Bam/Wiggins/Mitchell for defense and Herro/Beal for offense, watch him make a strong play at LeBron with the 50M expirings he has.

RealGM indicates Suns have no outgoing picks in 2032 and its past July 1st, 2025.

Sure but on flip side Heat gets 2 1sts which gives Heat more ammunition for putting together a trade package in near or distant future for a true star that might be on the market.

But do we? The protections offered are so nebulous. Do they become unprotected or turn into seconds? When? Why are we renting out all of our capspace next year for what could amount to 4 seconds? We're downgrading from Wiggins to Beal, paying a lot more for him, and our incentive could be a bag of expired roasted peanuts...

I don't think Lakers tie their 31 1st for Wiggins
Suns can't trade 32 1st, they already traded away 31.

I like the framework, bu no matter what the Lakers do, they should not trade a first in any form for Wiggins. Would be terrible asset management for them

The only way Bradley Beal will be on the Heat is by being brought out by the Suns. Nobody is taking on that contract without major compensation. The Heat decline this offer by the Suns/Lakers.

Yes but they finished the '24/'25 season over the second apron, which freezes their 1st seven years out ('32), meaning they are unable to trade it.
