The trash that was trotted out for slaughter during the playoffs will mostly be back no, at least that’s what it’s currently looking like

What I will say is if we just completely flop and stealth tank AJ Dybantsa is my most favorite prospect in some time.

Beal ain't getting a cent more than the minimum from the Heat lol

Which is why they won't even be in the running for him.

BOOOM! "He gained 20lbs of muscle in a summer" = breakout

I am at least hopeful Miami is still going to add talent since Miami continues to be linked to DeRozan, Beal, and John Collins. I don't think Miami can get Kuminga on a reasonable deal, so I am less optimistic there. Dame is a long-shot unless Miami improves its roster, imo.

Let's hope thats what the Arisons want.
And then trade herro before his extension or get him to take less.

If we start benching Ware for SloMo minutes in close games or bench KJ for Rozier type nonsense its going to be a long effing season. Going 39-43 is a nightmare scenario tbh.

Only reason id be ok playing vets like slomo rozier and featuring Wiggins alot, is hoping to move them by deadline. After trade deadline, I hope i dont see rozier or slomo or love touch the court.

And if we cant extend haywood to a decent deal, trade him. Tons of teams will have cap next year, I dont want to get into a bidding war over haywood altho I do like him more than most in here. Still dont want to pay him 12-14M per.

Well, the beautiful thing is you don't need to watch the trash. So, shoo.

For me watching how Kas will do and the 2nd yr of Ware is already intriguing enough, even if there's no more change (but probably will be more changes)

I’m very excited about watching this summer league team. As the years have gone on I find myself enjoying summer league more than the actual season. Last years team was a lot of fun

I feel like Beal has reached under rated status. Still an elite shooter, no longer a max guy definitely not a max guy with a NTC, but he can be a very productive player in the right role

Beal on/Booker and KD off +8 net rating. In games they all 3 played it was a +12 net rating :o

I don’t think Beal is a top 10 player in the league or anything but I’ve been saying for awhile he’s become extremely underrated because of his contract and the horrible fit with Phoenix.

He’s going to look fantastic in the Forum Blue and Gold.

Mia needs handlers in the worst way.

The way the roster is currently looking, I suspect they will be one of the worst turnover teams in the league.

Beal can help in this area.

Also, if he's cheap, what is the real downside in getting him?

If he plays well, they can always flip him for a pick to a contender at the deadline.

Bradley Beal on a min contact makes a lot of sense if we're keeping Wiggins.

I think if we trade Wiggins for a FRP and don't plan on making any moves to immediately improve the roster, I would rather just run with what we have and let the kids get as much burn as possible. Beal takes court time (and possessions) away from KP, DMitchell, Larrson, Jaime, Jovic, etc. etc. If we trade Wiggins for young assets then lets stop chasing vets that will want a big role on our team because we are not going anywhere in the short term.

Summer League = hope

NBA season = proof the hope was misplaced

No thanks guys.

Isn't that money washed out along the way?

I am probably mixing up the NFL with the NBA, or maybe even coaches salary with player salary....but I thought whatever the new team paid, it reduced what the old team had to pay...

maybe that is a coach's salary thing....but..I thought the only way for to make more then 50m was to get paid more then 50m.

I was watching a short yesterday and they had a grip strength meter they were passing around to the SL team. Kelel finished 1st by a bit. Then Goldin got it and tied him.

We gonna have some muscle in the paint this season.

He has the potential to join the pantheon of legendary Heat big men. Alongside Mourning, Shaq, and Bosh.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Agree with this line of thinking.

Problem is, though, it doesnt go far enough.

Trade Bam and Herro if that's the case.

Either way, Mia will be the running for a top 10 pick.

Mine as well be in the running for the first pick in the draft.

Return to Miami Heat
