I'm really excited to see LJ Cryer and Taran Armstrong.

Wonder what our starting lineup will be.

Really interesting roster.

If I have my names straight, Bolden was looking and playing really well for the W’s Summer League team last year, almost certainly going to get a training camp invitation, but then hurt his knee pretty badly. I can’t find anything substantiating that, however.

Hinson is an outstanding shooter. Obviously we can use that. But I don’t know how his full game is.

Hawkins is an interesting case - he went to Illinois and was a bit of a “do everything” wing (not a center, though he’s big), with people suggesting that if he came out in 2024, he’d be a great upside value pick in the late first or second round. But he transferred to Kansas State, his stats actually slid a bit (except assists - where he averaged 4.3 / game, pretty awesome), and then he went undrafted.

In addition to the guys already mentioned, I’m personally interested in watching all 3 of those guys.

I like Hawkins but just don’t think he has the toughness or strength to play center and not mobile enough to play the 4.

Yeah, he has a lot of SloMo vibe to him. Not really athletic, but just does a little of everything. Though not necessarily well enough at the NBA level.

Apparently Taran Armstrong has added 17lbs of muscle this off season. Let's see what he brings in SL.

Anyone know why our 2 2025 draft picks are not playing today?
Are they playing tomorrow - what's the reason or strategy?

Looks like they might play tonight- maybe not - "July 7th Game:
The Warriors are scheduled to play the San Antonio Spurs on July 7th at 3:30 PM PT, and the hope is that the trades will be finalized in time for them to participate. "

They had to wait until the 6th (today, the first day it could happen since FA started) to get the trade through. The 2 2025 picks should be able to play next game.

Bazley on the Lakers roster looks like he could be a backup big.

I liked him at first in OKC but he didn't seem to get better although he played the 3-5, he started a number of games in OKC at center. He looks like the same guy now at the age of 25. If you're signing him near the minimum, he's fine for some depth.
