Chris Livingstone released by Bucks, turns 22 in October, would prefer him on a 2-way instead of Emanuel Miller.

As a Bulls fan, this has been a very boring offseason so far.

There was so much 'noise' around the draft about how active the Bulls allegedly were, but it's just silence now, not even any rumours.

Agreed, but the main problem is you need to have assets to be active....and unfortunately the bulls have very few actual assets that anyone would want the only things of worth are Giddey, Buz, Coby and picks, everything else is either old, useless, overpaid or just not worth the hastle and all 29 other teams know that the Bulls FO just can't figure it out yet

Guys like Ayo and Williams, have some value but it is so little when the bulls have invested so much so any trade would be little to no value coming back. Guys like Terry, Phillips, Carter have absolutely no value whatsoever...Huerter and Collins are rebuilding value but overpaid and have a bad history of poor play, Vuc is old and limited in skillset

Bulls should be going after young "guns" looking to make their mark, no need for Liddell, Young or Manuel on these 2-way contracts (granted yes Lachlan OlBricht got one) but we need young firey and hungry guys that would at minimum light a fire under guys like Williams/Ayo to make them do a better job

E.J Liddell is gone. I guess Zach Collins can help himself to that number 32 jersey.

I wouldn't say the Bulls have few assets. But their assets are expiring players and 'core' members of the team and all their FRPs for the foreseeable future, it's additional assets that they lack, which is what they should have been doing a couple of years ago.

I think their biggest problem this offseason is that they've got so many players under contract so therefore lack room to make substantial moves.

I'm not trying to defend them, just seems like they may be a little handcuffed this season.

I watched them quite thoroughly last season actually, but not impressed with either tbh, neither one strikes me as long term NBA level talent so why waste time on a second year of them

That's a pretty lackluster group. I'd prefer to replace Young and Miller with Yuki and Poplar.

We need to do better with two-way contract guys

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

I've looked into them a good bit and I'm not that impressed. Miller is moderately intriguing, I guess.

We haven't ever found a contributor from two-way contracts since their inception 8 years ago, so I can't say I'm surprised. It seems like we prioritize low-ceiling guys who can fill in for a game or two when an injury crops up over guys who are less game-ready but have standout skills that could be developed.

We have a seemingly endless cycle of low/no ceiling guys who fill in spot minutes at the NBA level, then we move on from them after a year or two and shuffle in another group of same kind of players.

Ryan Arcidiacono, Tyler Cook, Malcolm Hill, Terry Taylor, Adama Sanogo, EJ Liddell, etc. None of those guys have/had NBA rotation potential, with the possible exception of Liddell, but they were all just competent enough to fill spot minutes when needed. That seems like a really poor use of two-way contracts when you could just use a 10-day on a guy who's been playing for your G League affiliate and knows the system.

Antonio Blakeney, Adam Mokoka, Onuralp Bitim, and Max Strus didn't work out either, but they at least had potential above "last man on the roster."

Some of it is because most of more useful guys are guards where we are strong.

We should have been looking for guys who were 6’8” or more.

It's odd that they have already used all of their 2-ways (on guys they already had) without even seeing what else is out there.

Jabari Walker was just signed to a 2-way deal with Philly, he'd have been an excellent pick-up on a 2-way.

Not sure if it's been discussed, but are we possibly targeting the wrong RFA. Instead of Kuminga, if we could put together a S&T package for Grimes, would people be open to that.
