Yess will push for top 5.

Once he refines his handle he will be unguadable. FT magnet.

Plays so much like Ant. Physical specimen. Explosive elite NBA athlete.

The under-19 World Cup has just started in Switzerland if people want to check out the next class. AJ had 18 points on 3/10 shooting in a win against Australia but did go to the line 15 times. Dash Daniels had a stinker, going 0/7 from the field. Jacob Furphy, who is completely not related to Johnny Furphy, had 24 points.

Peat looked pretty good as well as Khamenia.

I don’t believe Jacob is related to Johnny. Just a common last name I believe.

Not related. Jacob is going to UConn.

And Koa Peat is going to have a monster freshman season.

Whoops, no idea why I thought they were related, even with the last name.

My general perception on this class is that, like the 2025 one, it got overrated very early and it won't live up to the hype. Hope I am wrong though because the league is in desperate need of a really good class

So been browsing abit on the top ten guys since the Hawks own that Pels swap pick.... Yessoufou is a bit small for the sf, but he's well built. I'm a fan if the pick conveys high enough. I also like Ament, similar to Jalen Johnson but looks to be more of a 3-4.

Looking for a high level wing with that pick.

Any college ball watchers, anything to look for in Tyrese Proctor? Know very little about him, but seeing a 40% average 3 point shot feels nice to add to the cavs, who really need three point shooting. Any thoughts on if he can make the transition to the NBA?

I feel like every class is bound to lose some hype from high school to college. All the 5 star recruits, more are going to sink than become the stars they are compared to and projected as.

this is true, every class will have a bunch of top recruits that won't end up being that good in college, question is how many (varies class to class), also a question of what type of archetypes in the class, and will the premium archetypes play well vs not the not so premium archetypes

He’s going to get abused on defense so will have to shoot a high 3 point percentage to have a chance.

Every top 20 recruit looks like a stud against high schoolers. About half of those guys fall off once they get to college. A quarter become like an Omaha Biliew and completely crap the bed. It would be nice if Dybansta, Boozer, Ament, Peterson can at least prove they are alpha guys. Even a class with four potential All Stars at the top would be a nice switch up. That way bad franchises won't have to feel like they're going to be hopeless for another year if they don't get that #1 or #2 pick.

Underrated defender. The shooting is more inconsistent as the overall % will make it seem. Like get ready for a month + straight of not being able to hit the side of the barn. But when he’s on, that shot can be pretty good.

Zero on ball creativity. He just doesn’t have a dynamic enough handle or good enough first step to do much off the dribble.

This past year he basically was asked to be a straight up 3&D guy and it was by far his best year. If that 3pt ever actually gets consistent, he can turn into a really solid 3&D guy.

I always thought he could shoot when things are easy. When guys get into his chest he turned into a pumpkin and could easily be taken out of the game

Lots of spaniards going to the NCAA. the 2 most intriguing newcomers might be Mario Saint Supery and Fabian Flores.
The first one is a 6'3 combo guard who could make it to the NBA if he becomes more consistent and improves as a playmaker, he was already very productive in the ACB last season. Will play for Gonzaga.
Flores is a very mobile but still raw 7'1 kid with tons of potential, had some spot minutes in the ACB although he played mostly in the 3rd division. A late bloomer, just turned 20 but was completely off the radar only 2 years ago. In fact he hasn't played with a spanish NT yet, he'll debut this year in the u20 euro where should be the starting center with Mara and Almansa skipping the tournament. He was linked to Florida some time ago but nothing official yet.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

Impressed with Ament's skills at such a young age. He shot 42% from 3 and 90% from the line in HS.

probably Foster, Evans and Cameron are locked in

rest not sure, maybe Ngongba at C, we'll see if Cayden starts over some of the other wings too

The roles of Sarr and Khamenia are pretty interesting to me.

Foster, Evans, Sarr, Cam, Big Pat

My guess is they will just keep Brown as the same role for him last year (energetic defense off the bench). And I will say Foster probably has the edge going into the summer. But if he can’t show anything more than he’s shown the last 2 years, Cayden will be there to take over.
