I’m personally sending Springer a box of raspberry uncrustables.
Is anybody here a marine biologist?

What is being said where

He said that Kay will have to go on to his show tomorrow and acknowledge that the Blue Jays are the better team than the Yankees.

Kirk had a hot streak, cooled off. Springer is now on a hot streak. Barger is on a hot streak. When is Guerreros hot streak coming?

After a terrible month of May, Hoffman looking good in his closer role again these past couple of weeks. Much credit to him to pitch 4 out of the past 5 days, and for getting the job done in the 9th.

Beginning of the season I thought we would be lucky to still be in WC race at this point. Never in my wildest dreams would I thought that we would be first place in the AL East

He did his best work in July and August last year, so hopefully he can find something to give. WAR tells us he's doing well (note elite), but he continues to fail the eye test. When we need a big hit, there are several guys I'd rather see at the plate right now and that's sad given his contract. Still, we've been on this run without Vlad on a hot streak, so just gotta hope he can pick it up by the time the others cool off.

Wonder why it wasn’t a getaway day game especially with the Yankees having an afternoon game today
