After this series, the Jays go to Chicago (White Sox) and Sacramento (Athletics) leading up to the all-star game. If they don't have a letdown, they ought to go into the break at more than 11 games over .500.

Apple and Major League Baseball announce July “Friday Night Baseball” schedule - Apple

Apple and Major League Baseball (MLB) today unveiled the July schedule for “Friday Night Baseball,” the weekly doubleheader streaming every Friday on Apple TV+ throughout the 2025 regular season. Available in 60 countries and regions, fans can enjoy two marquee matchups each week with enhanced production quality, expert commentary, and no local broadcast restrictions.

Presented by Chevrolet and Essilor, “Friday Night Baseball” continues in July with a historic July 4th showdown between the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Later in the month, reigning American League MVP Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees take on two-time National League MVP Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies for a must-watch interleague clash.

Each week, coverage features distinguished broadcast teams, including Wayne Randazzo (play-by-play), Dontrelle Willis (analyst), Heidi Watney (sideline reporter), Alex Faust (play-by-play), Ryan Spilborghs (analyst), and Tricia Whitaker (sideline reporter). Game-by-game announcer assignments will be revealed weekly. Siera Santos, Russell Dorsey, and Xavier Scruggs return to host live pregame coverage from the studio and on the field throughout the month.

“Friday Night Baseball” is produced by MLB Network’s Emmy Award-winning production team in partnership with Apple’s live sports production team. Each game features state-of-the-art cameras and immersive sound in 5.1 with Spatial Audio enabled, including player and field-level mics to immerse fans in the gameplay and stadium atmosphere. Fans in the U.S. and Canada will also have the option to listen to home and away local radio broadcasts during “Friday Night Baseball” games.

All due personal respect to Joe Siddal (and I can’t stress that enough), but he’s the worst in the business. And I don’t care that he’s Canadian.

I don’t need a guy to comment on the location of every single pitch and enunciate every single word like it’s his first time learning to use talk to text. It’s just blah blah, blah blah blah.

No stories. No teaching anything new. No anecdotes. No actual humor. Boooorring.

Disagree, I spend a lot of time watching a lot of other teams and there are far, far worse out there.

Glad we got hot when we did against the Yankees. This game is so boring right now no runs

Cost of having no Kirk and Vlad in the lineup. It’s pretty much a throwaway game.

Oh I’m sorry I misspoke. You are right. I’m meant Dan which I guess is colour commentary. When Buck is there though it’s gold for play by play. I might be messing up the two categories

Looks like Gimenez is gonna have to go on the IL right when he’s starting to heat up. Clement can play full time in at 2B and Barger at 3B but we could really use Varsho back any time now.

Adell has 15 HRs in like a month; probably should avoid pitching to him for the rest of the series.
