Even tho I know this is most likely a baseless rumor, this is one of the exact reasons why I'm having fun posting it on the off season. It's nice to see the tables turned.

Hasn't Luka been pretty clear that he wants to commit to LA? He's considered to be a very loyal dude.

Giannis has left the door open multiple times as he demanded the front office improve the team.

I think it would be more believable if the rumour was Luka going to a big market team like Miami or The Knicks tbh

I think he will sign an extension with The Lakers, but their current front office doesn't provide much cause for optimism they can build a contender around Luka.

Mind you I am aware they have new owners who have ambitions, but they are also have to operate under the controversial cba/luxury tax like everyone else

VUcevic is Zvezda guy, seeing how much Zvezda spends these days, it is actually very likely that Vucevic is on their roster in a few years.

It will also play a role i guess that they heavyweights of Euroleague don't seem to need a starting Center of this caliber.
