He was wrong for going to the media to share his frustration about the way Kerr was using him or lack thereof but I don’t buy that he’s just some cancerous player because the world class Golden State organization treats him like a black sheep. That’s also a franchise that’s known to under develop young talent and hasn’t done so since Curry/Klay/Draymond.

I think any team that takes the chance on Kuminga and gets him away from Kerr and puts him in the right situation will thoroughly enjoy the fruits of his labor.

i think if you struggle there you arent a team guy.

He's far from ideal but Kuzma and AJax for DeRozan and Keon Ellis is probably the best, realistic deal that can be made without an outgoing first.

Can even deal DeMar at the deadline with the 1st if it clearly isn't working.

Then sign CP3 or Brogdon to start at PG with KPJ basically in a time share.

Thats not terrible especially considering we retain the trade salary in DeRozan.. i can see why the kings would do it. I just wish Derozan could hit 3s. I think at this point i would rather see Khris come back after he is eligible and be a bench scorer for the minimum. He may not be able to play 30 min or play good D but id rather have his big shot making beyond the arc

If Sac is selling on Carter, Ellis or Murray we would be very wise to get in on that. Murray and Ellis would be elite additions

It probably makes sense for us to take a gamble on someone like Kuminga but man you'd really need to trust the upside there. Him pouting and not adjusting his game to fit in on GSW isn't exactly a great look.

Kuzma for Smart and a first round pick?.. Send him back to the Wizards... I guess they were trying to give up him and a first for Lonzo Ball.

I don't hate Kuzma as much as most on the board, Smart is somehow only 31, so he might not be complete trash, plus he is on the last year of his contract.. Could give us some money to re-up Kpj Trent and Green next year.

Glad that we were initially in on Tre Mann, good target who sneakily got way too much for his production. Seemed like a viable min option that got 3/24 iirc

If the Kings are willing to move Keon Ellis, that's something you have to consider. 6'6" shooting guard who hits north of 40% on threes and plays elite point of attack defense. It doesn't solve our need for another creator/playmaker but it solves the biggest problem we have had since Jrue left.

It’s a shame that can’t be Andre Jackson Jr.

Turn Kuzma and Jackson into DeRozan, Ellis and CP3.

Why not

Pretty sure Doc loves De’Anthony Melton
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

But who doesn't? Melton would be a great addition if his knee is healed.

Rather have Rollins than Melton. Just get the kid signed already.
