Beal would be a good target for a few teams honestly.

Beal on the Bucks and they would look dangerous.

i love it for Beal as well. chance for him to show why he got paid a big contract in the first place.

that phoenix messed destroyed his value

If bulls believe in him shoudl do an IQ like flat contract. pay up more now when they are not quite competitive and benefit later

That explains the lack of tweet.

This topic tweet is a misdirection by OKC .

Does bulls believes in him enough to offer a 4 year contract to really benefit though ?

A 3 year contract sounds like a compromise where bulls don’t overpays too much and giddey get some more generational wealth locked in.

If increased caution is the new order of the day, then I like Utah hanging on to Collins all the more. I'd much rather have him on an expiring — or even on a new contract at a more appropriate (MLE) salary — than the long term deals that Jabari & Kuminga will ink this summer.

Don't want to give up Gafford, but he may be the Mavs best trade chip and they desperately need a guard who can create for others.

Would Indy do a Jarace Walker for Gafford swap? If so, who's the best guard Dallas could turn Walker into? Bub Carrington? Peyton Pritchard?

aren't they both more scorers than creators for others? i'd offer CP the starters spot but you're a bit far from LA for his liking

otherwise if you are happy with scoring point guard, sign Seth Curry for the minimum, he can still play.
charlotte had to sit him last year to help the tank, looked crafty playing the 2 man game with Nurkic, would look better playing it with AD

I feel like Sexton/Gafford is just sitting there for two teams that work together well and would help both teams..

Add in Naji/Diabate and you probably have enough room under the second apron for Exum’s contract..

Tim Cato floated around and idea of doing a minor trade with the Lakers that sends extra compensation and Lakers buyout LeBron, is there a rule against it?

Sounds like circumventing trade restriction .

Yeah, basically this. And the league can request and just receive any data they ask for, such as whole servers, full phone records, etc to search for corroborating evidence.

I would think this would be the kind of “under the table deal” that would get the major punishment we haven’t seen yet?

Sexton required a 2nd be added to dump for another expiring who no one pegs as on court value. He's clearly negative and a guy Dallas shouldn't touch. His only claim to fame was his one man show in Bama and that stupid flex he did in some summer league or preseason game

They are, but they have the skill set to do it. In Bubs case, who in Washington could reliably make use of his PG skills? Would much rather have those guys than Seth version 4 or 5

That trade made so little sense that I’m sticking with it being an unnecessarily delayed extension of the Bailey/Kon going differently than expected.. That makes more sense than anything else I’ve seen suggested:

Nurk is Utah’s third center. Sexton was Utahs best guard. The salary difference wasn’t even enough to justify a second without considering in court talent..

Sexton is a guy that can create his own pretty efficient offense in a large role and offers some playmaking... What Dallas needs. His defense is why he’s available for what he is.

The really good guards won’t be available for a below average starting center.. love Gaff but just being realistic.

Charlotte fans (at least this one) are excited to watch Sexton play alongside LaMelo Ball. You can knock the defense but Luka & Kyrie are comparable defensively, so Dallas committed the same sins.

I have Sexton worth a 1st round pick and agree his value is obscured by the Nurkic trade if viewed in a vacuum and not as an extension of Ace Bailey's value to the Jazz.

Huge stretch to equate the value of Nurkic with Sexton. Forget about the 2nd pick added, no less. Nurkic point blank cost the Suns a 1st to unload and they took back 2 bums (Martin & Micic).

How come Nurkic didn’t cost the Hornets a 1st to unload?

Is Martin & Micic > Sexton?

Martin & Micic > Sexton + 1st round pick?

Martin & Micic > Sexton + 1st round pick + 2nd round pick?

See how absurd it gets?

I have Gafford worth 2nds. He's a decent placeholder center.

Not sure Hornets match with Dallas on players other than Sexton.

And didn't Dallas just bring in Russell?
