2026&2029 2nds. Basically getting him for nothing.

Get two full years to decide if they want to re-sign him. So much better than paying Kuminga 20 million.

Great move for WAS.

Hope he pans out with more reps. He can play.

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

Wow why would Houston do that?

There is going to be a pretty serious minutes crunch unless they make some other moves.

This is a fantastic move. I know will need to pay him in a year, but love this kids game. So happy!

I mean, why not?
He doesn't have Kuminga's upside, but at this price, he's a great value.

Can he play the 4 full time, or is he a tweener?

I'm trying to remember something about him.
I see he's young (about to turn 21). Was he the
guy who dropped surprisingly in the draft that year?
He looks like a reasonable gamble for the price.
He's had some promising moments.

As far as 2RPs, CHI's could be relatively high.

Don’t get this move. We are loaded at the wings for guys to play…Bilal, George, Justin C, Kispert, Tre, Riley. I expect Riley to be on the GoGo the whole year next season

This is why you try and grab as many assets, whether it’s player and/or picks, as you can. We have an abundance of second round picks. The Bulls 2nd rounder next year is a bit steep if only because that could be a top 10 2nd round pick. Per Spotrac, we still have 16 second round picks through 2031.

Kispert and Justin C will be flipped to a contending team for 2nd round picks at some point.

Riley will spend the majority of the year with the GoGo.

Carrington/Smart
Johnson/McCollum
Whitmore/George
Coulibaly/Middleton
Sarr/Olynyk

All of Middleton/Smart/McCollum/Olynyk are probably gone at the deadline. They will probably finish out 2026 with another extended look for AJ Johnson, Vukcevic, and bring up Will Riley after they sell off the veterans.
