Cam Whitmore had the same trade value as Obi Toppin, both got traded for two 2nd round picks

Apparently that's the value of all offense no defense wings now

Man if Edgecombe performs anywhere near rookie DWade did, with a healthy Embiid + Maxey even without PG they would be more dangerous than the Cavs imo

The decision makers who thought Ayton and Kat would fit well together should be fired.

They're the same decision makers who thought Kemba and Fournier were good pickups.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

As pro-Ayton as I am... Not sure if that's the fit I would want.

Would take him with Randle though.

Ayton and KAT isn’t the ideal pairing, but it’s way better than having KAT at the 5. KAT makes Ayton look like AD on defense.

Pretty much any of these vets would be good depth signings if it's just for the min. Ayton would probably just be coming off the bench and backing up KAT. But yea, better opportunities and money elsewhere.

It would be like if Eddy Curry and Zbo actually played mid to above average (in spurts) defense.

Ayton is a solid defender. Don’t let sham fool you. There’s a reason why multiple contenders wanted him, including the Knicks. I can see the reasoning why the Knicks wanted to pair him up with KAT cause he can protect the rim, can switch 1-5 and he’s also not clogging the paint like Fat Mitch.

If I can recall correctly Giannis is still in EC so I don't think I want to see Ayton guarding him. But now he will be Lakers scape goat when they put him on Jokic

He is a good player tho, I like him, but he cannot stop these monsters.

JJ Redick will blow up Ayton if he decides to pull some of his sh.t from his Phoenix days. Not sure what he has done in Portland, maybe he grew up.

He's good when he tries. KAT's not a good defender but he tries. Together? I don't want to see it. And thank God we won't have to.

You mean no chance Embiid staying healthy ? With more talent/ support = less pressure to carry load, you never know, stranger things have happened.

And don't forget Grimes (21.9ppg, 5.2rpg, 4.7apg, 1.5spg, 47FG%, 37 3P%)... if they resign him they'll have Embiid, Maxey, Edgecombe, PG13, Grimes...

Imo Edgecombe gonna avg 14-15ppg, he seems to have the right attitude and mentality to go with his talent to succeed in this L, more firepower for them can't be bad at this point.

It's gonna be us, Sixers, and Cavs for top 3 spots in the East.
