Is that Aquinas or the original apostle?

Either way killer intangibles but not sure the athleticism’s gonna hold up in the big leagues.

I made this joke on the General Board and someone replied back - "No they actually signed the island"

remember

if your guy looks great, then that means he is a sure fire superstar

if your guy looks like ****, then its just summer league and doesn't matter

(but for real you are just looking to see if traits translate at this point, McCain shot like **** BUT he also kept playing hard despite that and didn't look overmatched IIRC)

Summer League games are more physical, with players hustling harder and everyone trying to prove themselves. Most guys are hunting their own shots, which makes it tougher to stand out compared to the early part of the regular season, when teams are still finding their rhythm and ramping up conditioning.

Kasparas looks like he’s deferring too much. Carter Bryant, despite being raw, plays with aggression and flashes real potential. Topic is showcasing his high basketball IQ and he looks noticeably improved on the defensive end.

What’s the plan with Jalen Hood-Schifino? I want him on our roster. I really hope we’re not just showcasing him in Summer League, only to lose him like we did with Alex Caruso.

I'd agree summer league shouldn't mean much; but if you're a second year player like Dalton "Can't" Knecht and you don't do well or dominate it's a bad sign.

I'm a certified DK hater but I can't get on him for playing bad in summer league. The whole thing is a sham. It can barely be called a sport.

The diva Dylan Harper didn’t even show up! Afraid to be upstaged by the better pick VJ!

Ya gotta play somewhat well. You spent a year facing NBA caliber competition; you should have developed a bag of tricks that get you easy buckets. He was supposed to be a shooter too when he came out.

No one freak out if Broome looks better than VJ in the summer league. Dude was built to play well in summer league and he's like 23 years old.
