I'm going with Oladipo. Although only for one season (2017-18) he was the best all-around guard in the league. There wasn't a single other perimeter player that year that was as impactful as he was on defense while also averaging at least 20 PPG. He was also just as good, if not better in the playoffs. That was one of Lebron's best years of his career and Dipo almost single handedly pushed his Cavs team to a seventh game. In that series he was Indiana's leader in points, rebounds, assists, and steals. Jones undoubtedly had better longevity, but peak for peak I think it's Oladipo by a pretty fair margin. It would have been a lot of fun to see how his career would have progressed if he managed to stay healthy. His potential and athleticism were both off the charts.

I like Oladipo more as a #1, but if you're loaded and need more of a 3+D guy then give me EJ.

There was no season where Oladipo was a good choice as a number 1. In his apex season, which he never drew near to beforehand, he was what should have been a strong #2, heading a +0.9 offense. It wasn't a dominant scoring season and he wasn't a stunner as a playmaker. He was a nice player at his peak in terms of his blend of decent scoring and defense, but he was not a ton different than Eddie. And EJ's results in his peak year in Charlotte aren't far from what Oladipo managed in 2018, but the Hornets weren't as healthy.

Neither of those guys was a good choice as a focal player.

EDIT: Also, what the tits? Eddie was more than a 3+D player.
