So, is this like when LaVar Ball had all Lonzo's checks going thru Daddy, who put them in "his" business, and lived off over $10 Million of Lonzo's Money?
How deep are the Cooper's tentacles into this kid?

Doesn’t seem like a good situation. Hopefully Ace has a solid financial planner.

Obviously, Ace's camp is saying, "Take care of my guy Omar." Both Omar and Omar Jr. came out to Utah for Summer League camp. Hard to say how far this will go. Jazz are trying to clean up a PR situation and trying to make things copasetic. I can't imagine that this lasts into the actual season.

The Jazz intended to help ease Bailey's transition to the NBA by having Omar Cooper Jr. -- the son of Bailey's advisor who just finished his career at McNeese State and plans to enter coaching -- serve as an unpaid guest coach during summer league. That plan was called off after the league office contacted the Jazz to raise concerns, sources told ESPN.

I am glad the NBA office helped put a stop to the plan for Omar Cooper Jr. to serve as an unpaid guest coach during summer league. I am sure the real Jazz coaches are glad as well.
